Marvel's 2015 film Ant-man is set to film in San Francisco next week in the following locations, The Tenderloin On Jones Street between Eddy and O'Farrell Streets and Ellis Street between Leavenworth and Hyde Streets. On fliers and permits around San Francisco, the filming production is known as “Bigfoot”. A spokeswoman for the San Francisco Film Commission said that the filming done in SanFran will mostly be, "Characters walking and talking". She also said that one of the main protagonist in the film home is near where the filming is suppose to be taking place.  So, Avengers: Age Of Ultron filming production title was named AfterParty, and now Ant-man has Bigfoot. I Wonder what's going to be next, any ideas? Sound off below!

Ant-Man is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics characters of the same name: Scott Lang and Hank Pym. Can someone explain how the hell they're supposed to get this done in less than a year? They'll have to shoot for at least four months, have all the effects completely rendered, go into post, and start a huge marketing campaign. Is that not impossible to do in just under a year?

It could be done with filming in a month. Not all movies take four months.

@Sipprelle nope it's possible, but very risky. This thing is really running into the wind. It could be a complete disaster, but then again some of the best films were made under very difficult conditions.

@ruadh

I'd say 3 or 4 months give or take with some reshoots later down the yeah. I'd say it'll be done by November.

First Class was made in a similar timeframe and with similar conditions.

But Peyton Reed is no Matthew Vaughn so we'll see what happens.

@thewonderer

The only thing I'm worried about is the VFX. You could still notice some dodgy CGI and green screen in First Class. That's probably because they didn't have enough time to polish the VFX. Still a great film though.

@Pheezmatic Big feet = big... shoes...

Big foot loose.

If you all look at ALmazings picture you can see the word in red. It probably reads "KLIK" but if you are swedish like me, you will read K U K... If you google translate that from Sweddish, that picture gets a whole new meaning and I cant stop laughing as Im watching it.

I think "Bigfoot" refers to the big feet of every human being in comparison to Ant-Man.

Great find!

@McNyagano You're absolutely right about that. They story, editing performances all that has plenty of time. The CGI though could be a problem especially because antmans powers will be so CGI based.

@DylansMyDog

That's all I'm worried about too. I'm pretty sure whatever company is doing the VFX on the action sequences already had a head start. Usually Marvel some VFX done by the time a new trailer is released. Let's hope they complete it.

@McNyagano I'm sure they have, but there is only so much to do before there is any photography. Either way I just think it is a shame Edgar Wright isn't involved with this. He's one of my favorite directors and could have delivered a really unique film.

Ah well we'll see what happens.

that's neat, considering Michael Douglas got his acting career started on the tv show Streets of San Francisco.

I still can't find much time to care about this movie... But I'm interested to start seeing set photos and footage. Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lily has piqued my interest somewhat. And the lack of Edgar Wright is certainly a positive.
