The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time with Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man.” Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

Starring Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Judy Greer, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Pena, John Slattery, and Hayley Atwell, Ant-Man is set to be released on July 17th, 2015.

I'm telling you guys, this movie is going to be awesome. Think about the concept of Honey I Shrunk the Kids. Think about the world being viewed by someone who is shrunken down to ants level of view. There's so many ideas they can play with I can't wait to see it done by Marvel and their team!

I can't wait to see what this movie has in store for us. Something about the mood of this trailer reminded me of TIH, which I personally really enjoyed. I love the fact that this movie will be somewhat of a standalone story, doing some great world building while still connecting itself to the history of the MCU (especially with the rumored flashbacks featuring a younger Pym, Peggy Carter, and Howard Stark).
