Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom director James Wan has already shared a first look at Jason Momoa suited-up in both his classic and "stealth" costumes, but we now have a behind-the-scenes shot of Patrick Wilson, and let's just say the actor is not exactly looking like his usual self.
Imprisoned at the end of 2018's Aquaman, we probably shouldn't be surprised that Orm is looking a little rough around the edges. No longer the "Ocean Master" after being dethroned by his half-brother, it's unclear what sort of role Wilson's villain will play here, but we'd be shocked if he doesn't don a costume of his own at some point.
If nothing else, the fact he's on land here confirms that he won't spend too much of this sequel behind bars underwater, so perhaps Arthur turns to him for help? Another possibility is that Ocean Master aligns himself with Black Manta. Either way, Wilson appears to be in the best shape of his career.
With any luck, we'll get a first look at Amber Heard suited up as Mera next.
Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Patrick Wilson, Randall Park, Dolph Lundgren, Temuera Morrison, and Pilou Asbæk. A release date has been set for December 16, 2022, and you'll want to keep checking back here for much more on the movie.
