Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye is nowhere to be found in any of the marketing for
Avengers: Infinity War, something fans have definitely taken notice of. He hasn't been in any of the trailers, any of the photos or magazines, or any of the posters - which has led fans to
create their own versions featuring the character.
To be clear, there's probably a very good - and most likely spoilery - reason we haven't seen Hawkeye in any of the promotional material yet, and directors Joe and Anthony Russo are well aware of the chatter surrounding his mysterious absence; but, that doesn't mean they can't have a little fun with fans.
Yesterday, the directors updated the cover photo for their official Russo Brothers Facebook page with none other than that hilarious poster made by BossLogic, which replaces all of the Avengers with photos of Hawkeye. If you haven't seen it yet, here it is below.
Well, it's not his own official poster or anything, but at least this shows the Russos still care about the character.
It's doubtful we'll see anything official of Hawkeye before the release of
Avengers: Infinity War on April 27, but perhaps it's better that way at this point. Now, he can truly surprise us during the battle between Thanos and Earth's mightiest!
