Agent Coulson Lives! Days after ABC Network picked up The Avengers director Joss Whedon’s return to the small screen, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. received a marketing push during the season finale of Once Upon a Time; despite not having a premiere date. Following a Vine sneak peek and viral site launch, a 30-second teaser for the Marvel TV series has debuted! Check it out below!

Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson’s team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) expert pilot and martial artist, Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker); brilliant engineer and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet). From Executive Producers Joss Whedon (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” ”Buffy the Vampire Slayer”); Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” pilot co-writers (“Dollhouse,” “Dr.Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”); Jeffrey Bell (“Angel,” “Alias”); and Jeph Loeb (“Smallville”) comes Marvel’s first TV series. “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.

Interesting. I don't like the Coulson emphasis (he's not a bad-ass, so why even try?) But i really like how it's going all out. Very promising!

This is gonna be huge on TV, MARVEL property is really becoming a favorite amongst the average viewer now.

For anyone who doubts it just look how many fans hated Iron Man 3 yet it's currently taken $948,993,000 worldwide in just three weeks and surely $1 billion by Wednesday it looks like now. Thor the Darkside can only benefit from more MARVEL exposure from this TV show.

@Godkiller

Yeah it's not Luke Cage....or J. August Richards for that matter.

I really hope that's not Luke Cage. J. August Richards has a really chubby face...doesn't look at all like Cage. I'll still be watching, at least to see how they revive Coulson.

It's a tv show it's not like they are going to dish out money for a big budget actor to play Luke Cake. They will probably switch him in The Avengers 2 for another guy that looks the same.

This seems like one of those shows that looks really good but doesn't get high enough ratings to justify how expensive it is to the studio.

Fingers crossed it turns out great

It's 'Cloak' from Cloak and Dagger.

Also at everyone Coulson was never proven officially dead other than Nick Fury's own word, there was no official shield reports or any other documents to say so otherwise. I don't why everyone is getting worked up about this. It's all like yay Coulson is awesome then it's like wtf is he doing back. Seriously make up your mind. I think Marvel is doing a great move with this. Coulson's return is going to have a huge impact for the story in The Avengers 2. I have a feeling Joss Whedon knows what he is doing.

And let the oversaturation of the market begin! Seriously, this looks amateur. I hope I'm wrong but I'm not impressed.

This is gonna be Marvel's Smallville...
