Cameras are still rolling on HBO Max's Batgirl movie in Glasgow, Scotland, and following our recent look at Michael Keaton's new Batman costume, we have a first glimpse of the outfit Brendan Fraser will don as the villainous Firefly.
We're not sure if it's actually the Doom Patrol actor under the mask (it's more likely to be a stunt-double), but the getup appears to be most closely inspired by the Arkham Asylum video games' version of the character.
Though there was some uncertainty surrounding Fraser's role in the film when his casting was first announced, it's since been confirmed that he is indeed playing the villainous Garfield Lynns. We still don't know how the character will be introduced or what connection he'll have to Barbara Gordon, but based on everything we've seen so far, it looks like he will be based on the sociopathic pyromaniac who was introduced post-Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Batgirl will star Leslie Grace as the titular hero, along with Jacob Scipio and Ivory Aquino. J.K. Simmons is also set to reprise the role of Jim Gordon.
Loki composer Natalie Holt recently announced that she's signed on to work on the movie's score, while Christina Hodson, who wrote Bumblebee and also worked on Birds of Prey and The Flash, penned the most recent draft of the script.
The HBO Max movie is being directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. No release date has been announced, but Batgirl is expected to debut later this year.
