BATGIRL Set Photos & Video Give Us Another Look At Leslie Grace In Costume - With Goggles

We finally have a look at Leslie Grace (or her stunt double) suited-up as Batgirl on the set of the HBO Max movie, but this outfit appears to be slightly different from the one in the official image.

We figured a first look at Leslie Grace suited-up as Batgirl on the set of the HBO Max feature was imminent after an official image was released over the weekend, and we now have a glimpse of the actress (or possibly her stunt double) in-costume - with one notable addition!

The images and video aren't the clearest, but we can see that Barbara Gordon is sporting a pair of goggles of some kind. The character has utilized various eye-wear (infrared, night-vision, etc) in the comics over the years, though they were never really considered a permanent fixture of her costume.

Goggles aside, this appears to be the same outfit Babs was sporting in the official shot. The reveal drew a decidedly mixed reaction from fans, with some appreciating the comic-accuracy, and others of the opinion that it looked more like something we'd see on a CW DC TV show.

Batgirl will also star J.K. Simmons as Jim Gordon, and Jacob Scipio and Brendan Fraser in undisclosed roles (the latter is believed to be playing the villainous Firefly). It's also been confirmed that Michael Keaton's Batman will appear.

Loki composer Natalie Holt recently announced that she's signed on to work on the movie's score, while Christina Hodson, who wrote Bumblebee and also worked on Birds of Prey and The Flash, penned the most recent draft of the script.

The HBO Max movie is being directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. No release date has been announced.
