Welldrawn, true, it might not have taken the guy a long time to do but sometimes a piece of work doesn't have to be elaborate or painstakingly created be effective. I think this is effective, so I posted it.

Earz, I didn't take it as a personal attack I was just sick of the unwarranted [female dog]ing is all. Thsi same pic was posted on no less that 3 other websites before I picked it up. Some, not even comic book related, simply movie sites. Are you seriously telling me that it's not worthy of posting on CBM? Seriously dude, get a grip. And I realize that it's hard when your stuff doesn't make main(that's the reason for Ckirk's little gripe) but if you think that we purposefully bypass anything your crazy. We are constantly looking for user content to feature, unfortunately some good stuff does get lost by the wayside.

Ckirk, I didn't delete em, it seems all of the comments posted under that false username were deleted..trust me, I don't sweat anything you have to say enough to bother deleting it:)

Conartist, that's pretty funny. We are doing something we are passionate about and getting paid for it and we have no lives..but a guy [female dog]ing about that on a forum is really living the high life? Get a grip.

@RorMachine Okay, you're really misunderstood. You say that you're sick of the unwarranted complaining, but you don't seem to know why people are upset in the first place. These people are complaining because many of them write good quality articles and they never get any decent attention while you post a random piece of fan art and immediately move it to the main page.

Also, I am in no way upset over my stuff not making it to the main page at times, but rather because other good people are being denied the opportunity to have their work published on the homepage because editors tend to pollute it with less impressive work so that they can get an extra buck in their pocket. Now this does not apply to all editors by any means, but it does apply to some of them (at the moment, you being one).

Now if I were you, I'd stop trying to argue with everyone (because frankly, you're not doing a very good job) and I'd start looking for that "good stuff that gets lost by the wayside" because it appears that you along with other editors are not making a good enough effort to share the spotlight with the less-known, yet, more modest users.

FYI, I'm not trying to fight you. I'm expressing my opinion in an attempt to reestablish a fair and reasonable environment.
