Liam Neeson Elaborates On THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Confirmation

Liam Neeson, who portrays Ra's Al Ghul in Batman Begins and the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises, gives a little more (not much) about his return, saying he knows practically "Nothing."

From CNN:

With July 20 bringing "The Dark Knight Rises," the final installment in the Christopher Nolan/Christian Bale trilogy of "Batman" films, fans have wondered if Liam Neeson (whose Ra's al Ghul character was killed in "Batman Begins") would make another appearance.

ComicBookMovie.com noted that the production notes for Neeson's next film, "Wrath of the Titans," included "Dark Knight Rises" as one of his upcoming projects.

CNN recently spoke with Neeson at the press junket for "Wrath of the Titans" to clear this up, and to see what Neeson knows about the film, which has been shrouded in mystery.

"I think so," he said. "I have no idea what the story is about. Nothing. Nothing. Seriously, I'm not sure if I'm still in it. It's a cameo – let's put it that way – if it still survives.”

So it's just a cameo, but that doesn't mean that it's not important. Sound off with your thoughts below.

I'm sure there will be a part where he is teaching Obi Wan Kenobi how to come back from the death...

Cool. It'll be a nice flashback and nothing more. And it doesn't need to be anything else but a flashback for this series.

You're right. The Lazarus Pit wouldn't fit.

My thought is the one guy is gonna play him younger in a flashback, then hewill come in in a later flashback, and then due t the lazarus pit he will return as the already established younger version

basically he said he did and acted what he was told or what was on the script
he has no idea how his role will play into this film he doesnt know anything about it...cool! keep it that way!
NOW!..the dude playing the younger Ra's is one of the twins from Social Network if u didnt know @Ha1frican!
i think the younger him we will see in a flashback when he was with his wife..leading up to a certain point where we see liam in present day or w/e but idk
and i have no problem with banes voice too its scary! i love it!
i think this whole movie is going to be one big story of what happened over 7 to 8 years
(certain main points) leading up to a certain point in the present day (8 years later)

@Asterisk

Lucas didn't delete that scene. Neeson had a broken leg at the time and simply couldn't film it.

@Gnyah, Arnie Hammer is the guy from The Social Network, and it's only one of him, he has no twin lol. They did great trick photography to make him look like he had a twin in the movie.

@vital, they put armie hammers head on another actor who had to play the physical part of the twin and he is the actor playing who we think youg ras.

I bet everything we saw im set pics is stuff that will happen after the 8 year gap while everything that happened in between will be the stuff they filmed on the lots and wi
L be the more secretive stuff, cameos, twists, whatever the ending is. Also does anyone have any theories about the rumor from a while back that Roland Dagget was a character or what the subplot involving corporation (Gary Oldman talked about this a little) will be?

How cool would it be if Ras survived the crash in BB with extreme injuries, and one of his trained ninja's (Bane) trys to help him by capturing a doctor who could cure him. This could be the prolouge scene with Bane capturing the doctor on the plane. And didn't the designer of the costume say that he wears the mask because of burns he aquired awhile back? Think that could be from the fire Bruce started at the LoS HQ?? Just my thoughts, doubt they're right though.
