Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ “The Dark Knight Rises” is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on “Batman Begins” and the record-breaking blockbuster "The Dark Knight." The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.

The Dark Knight Rises hits DVD, Blu-ray and Digital Download on December 4th. You can check out my review of the Blu-ray and the special features included Here

Amazon is selling the Blue-Ray for $18.99, the whole trilogy for $29.96.

Now, today I walked into a Wal*Mart, and I found:

Batman Begins [wide-screen edition] for $5
The Dark Knight [Full Screen edition] for $5
Spider-Man 2 [Full Screen edition] for $5
Spider-Man [wide-screen edition] for $5
Sin City [wide-screen edition] for $5

And, a ton of James Bond movies for $5. For those of you that can wait a few months, you might be able to snag the whole trilogy for under $15 when “Rises' goes in the bargain bin.

@Preaston Walmart is going to have the TDKR dvd for 12.96, Bluray for 17.96 and The Broken Bat Cowl edition for 24.96. I don't think you'll find a better price for The Dark Knight Rises anywhere else.

@Mendenhall12

Not if you need to have it when it's first released, you are going to pay top dollar for that DVD. If you wait a few months, you can get the The Broken Cowl edition for a fraction of the cost. In fact, most of the time, the special editions are the first to be marked down (because they need the space for other stuff).

However, if you want, pay top dollar for a DVD that'll be $5 by next X-mas.

I'm just saying that currently, you can buy 3 DVDs (superhero movies) for the price of what you would pay for 'Rises'.

The only thing that ruins this scene for me is the horribly obvious makeup Hardy has on his arms. That stuff beads when it gets wet, so during the whole sewer scene, Bane looks like he's got acne all over his arms.

One of the best fights in the history of CBMs, probably next to the fights in Spider-Man 2.

IronPatriot88

Or as Iron Patriot points out, you can wait and buy it second hand off somebody for about $1.99 [including shipping] from a place like Ebay or Half.

Half has:
The Dark Knight [Widescreen] for $1.34
Batman Begins for $0.99

You might be able to get the whole trilogy for under $5 if you wait.

Got BB and TDK for $5 each on Black Friday. Watched both of them this past weekend. I must say that this is the best CB trilogy of all-time..so far.Tracking TDKR has some flawsand did seemed a little rushed, all three of them are pieces of a puzzle that fit together.

Also I really don't care if they use JGL as Batman in JL. Batman could be anybody, he is a symbol, a protector. If not just pay Bale 30 mil then lol. See if he turns that down.

I watch the special features on any movie I get. I sometimes watch that more than the movie itself.

I'm buying the Limited Edition Bat Cowl Blu-ray Set. Looking forward to screening those IMAX sequences on my new TV panel. Oh, and speaking of deals... I scored a deal last June when I bought the Christopher Nolan Five Film Collection for $30. I never had a copy of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, so I was happy.

I'm also looking to get The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy (never seen it before), Kubrick Collection, Hitchcock Collection, X-Men Trilogy, Bond 50, Ben-Hur, Planet Of The Apes (original), Tarantino XX, and maybe some seasons of Batman: The Animated Series and Batman Anthology. Heck, I'm even looking to check out the old Adam West serial for nostalgia. Oh, and the Marvel Phase Ome later in next year.

I don't have to resort to trolling to interact with people; I can actually debate them. And, HTML isn't that hard.

You can get The Dark Knight for $1.34

DK

Batman Begins for $0.75

begins

You don't have to wait like you do in Ebay. Plus, if you wait a month or two, you might be able to get the whole trilogy for under $5.

@darkmetal: In that first video that guy maybe made one good point, other than that he had absolutely know clue what he was talking about and went off on tangents that made absolutely no sense.
