Digital Journal has published a little piece claiming that Christian Bale's days as the Batman may not be over just yet!


Digital Journal...can we trust them?

Citing the book Beyond Batman: The Unauthorized True Story of Christian Bale and His Dark Knight Dilemma, the site reports that Bale may just not be able to turn down the 50 mil pay day that would come with his return as Bruce Wayne. Things get a little sketchy when they say it is in the upcoming Justice League movie as that is still two steps away with the Superman/Batman team-up of 2015 on-deck.

As usual with these things we can't really trust the actors nor their representatives so the only way we'll know is when it is announced or someone else is announced as Wayne. However, if we're looking at a slightly older Batman in this movie, I certainly prefer to go with the one that has been in the suit and done a fine job.

Nope. How could he return if he handed it to "Robin"?

Besides, he was damn near crippled in TDKR. Bale was a great Wayne, but a "meh" Batman. Re-cast. Time to get all things Nolan the hell away from the DCU.

@batz11 But how would they explain why would Wayne come back as Batman if John Blake took over?
Specially since he faked his death so that he could stop being batman and, in his own way, start a new life.
It would be much better if they start over fresh with a new Batman that is hoppefully more faithful to the comics.

Bale did a fantastic job in the Dark Knight Trilogy. I would absolutely love it if they announced that he would be back, even if he was playing a different Bruce Wayne from the Nolan series.

Love it! Its what the DCU truly needs in my opinion! Instant credibility! And I just had this thought..........Again in my opinion makes the disappointment of the ending, so much better! Casting Cane, Hathaway, maybe Fox, but definitely RECAST THE JOKER PLEASE! And .....Ladies & Gents thats called............. COMPETITION!!!

Could go either way, but this is what they need if this movie is to have any leverage at all.

Things change in Hollywood, never trust anything actors or directors or producers say.

There was a time when Zach Snyder said Cavill's Superman didn't exist in a world with other superheroes, look how true that turned out to be.

Don't mind Bale back myself. If they looking for a older Brice Wayne, hell Bale can look as old as 40 or as young as 30 at times.

I know if Bale back with Snyder on board, this Batman is gonna be new and improved in his fighting skills. Snyder knows how to portray characters fighting. Why not bring him back?

Bale does have a following outside of the Batman franchise, which is one of the reasons the trilogy has been successful. If WB was looking for a billion $$$ def bring Bale back. However, he ain't my first choice.

I would like to see Bale back as Batman, but the only issues I would have with it is 1- it wouldn't fit the Nolan Bat universe 2- I loved the ending to Bruce's story in TDKR and 3- No Joker, Bane, Talia, Ras or Two-Face :(

movieweb.com said the same thing that he would come back for the JL movie...but not sure about MOS 2 movie set for 2015....
IF this is true though...then i think its safe to say that rumor about WB/DC sharing/doing a multi-verse will be true!!...if they get some1 for MOS 2 to play batman...then bale comes back for batman in JL...but again all are rumors

if they get him to come back for both MOS 2 and JL i am all for it as well...

i for one do not care if bale comes back or not...as long as nolans world of batman is NOT involved with zacks DC universe then i am ok with that...

bale can come back as long as nolans batman world is not involved in anyway with zacks superman/DC world...just no no no!!...

but yes bale is done though..he shouldnt come back....yes ppl would want him to come back and fans want him back but some ppl dont..hes been doing batman since 2003-2012 long time! let some one else get a taste for batman!

Damn! The kid in me really loves this idea. I mean he doesn't look like he's 61 at all, and he was a great Batman! Not the best Bruce, but just don't take him out of the costume. Seems like gold, but I know we need him a little bit younger lol. Still would be cool.
