The actor answered by saying he would love to play a villain, specifically the iconic Batman foe, The Riddler.

JIM PARSONS: “I would love to play a superhero in a movie, I would like to be a villain. And…I would really like to play The Riddler. I don’t feel they’re using the Riddler very much, are they?”

I don't think he's a terrible choice. I hate Big Bang Theory. It would be fine.

Honestly, that would be awesome. Parsons is a terrific actor. I'm one of the millions that loves Big Bang Theory, and he's the main reason. I would be down for him as the Riddler.

Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I think Matthew Fox would be a good choice though. He did an outstanding job in Alex Cross and could pull off the Riddler.

Can't stand that show and the only good thing Parsons has ever done and not being completely annoying was his 2 minute throw away appearance in Galaxy Quest. I should point out he dies in that movie.

Considering Parsons plays himself in pretty much EVERY SINGLE ROLE he takes...

No. No thank you. Can't stand Sheldon. Can't stand TBBT

No.

TBBT is probably the worst "Nerd Show" on the air right now. I don't want the actors anywhere near tentpole movies, as they would jusg serve as distraction.

TBBT is just another show from CBS' shitty lineup

Name one good show outside of The Good Wife from that network.

@BlackIceJoe

Matthew Fox was literally the only good thing about that Abomination of a film. Having Tyler Perry play Alex Cross was [frick]ing awful.

James Patterson is my favourite author (I own almost all of his books), and nothing about Alex Cross would ever remind me of Tyler Perry. Morgan Freeman was pretty good in Kiss the Girls and Along Came a Spider, but he was a little too old.

You should probably retract that comment, considering Jim Parsons is NOTHING like his Sheldon character in real life. Even his voice is dramatically different.

Just like @SoFresh, try and watch TBBT without the laugh track. The show only appeals to people who laugh just because others are. It's sad to be quite honest.
