I like the mask we got in the movie more, but it would've been better if it covered up more of his head.

The alternate version we see here looks way better than the jockstrap attached to his face in the movie.

my only objection to the movie, bane looked nothing like the bane of nightfall and took me a while to see past this wierd bane look but as he didnt die in the movie there is always the possibility it was early bane before his conversion to the drugs and mexican wrestling.
so opinion of this bane up buy many points and correct casting, except it does tend towards a more british cast than any other batman odd for an american icon realy.

The concept kinda reminds me of Vader
Ceejay
Ceejay - 8/9/2012, 7:49 AM
Way too comical, covers his entire head for the sake of what exactly? He doesn't have a secret identity so making him wear a mask that resembles a Mexican wrestler is overly theatrical for the already themed real world scenario of these films.

Guess you have to have some serious need to see men in gimp tight suits and masks to prefer this version.

THAT MASK I POSTED MAKES BANE LOOK MORE COLD AND UNFEELING.

@Bodwulf, Did you make that? If so, it doesn't really make sense. You don't fry things on a grill.

Bane was almost a space jockey? Seems legit
Bodwulf
Bodwulf - 8/9/2012, 8:03 AM
@Johnnysnow Yes and it is supposed to be funny not make sense. Bane can't eat hamburgers in the first place! Well, unless you put them in a blender first. :)

ComicBookSon
ComicBookSon - 8/9/2012, 8:28 AM
That is cool but Bane's face being covered, although is more comic book accurate, wouldn't work that well for film. ESPECIALLY because he is the main villain and has the most screen time. Banes mask works for film.

BFGLOOM
BFGLOOM - 8/9/2012, 8:37 AM
The mask was fine. Bane was better then most of the comic stories he's been in. Nolan could have made him better but nothings perfect.

I dont see a big difference it looks almost like the same mask we got in the movie but with a ski-mask underneath.

he would have been criticized for looking and sounding like darth vader if they went with the early design, even though it looks great.
