The Dark Knight Returns Teaser Poster

The Dark Knight Returns Teaser Poster

Are we finally seeing movement on the Batman front? Hollywood Chicago thinks so, posting a teaser poster depicting the Riddler in The Dark Knight Returns!

Although the project doesn't seem to be moving, HollywoodChicago, believes this is the first poster for "The Dark Knight" sequel. They believe it so much that IMDB.com already posted it under the photos of "Untitled Batman Project" and has it as the main movie poster.
See It For Yourself:

If this is truly the poster for the movie and IMDB is right, then we should see the return of The Dark Knight in 2011. Although most of you must believe that this is fake, it has not been denied so, unlike the other posters that have surfaced.
Such as this one:

I think HollywoodChicago can be trusted due to their constant coverage during the filming of TDK. I'm personally not so sure about the poster, but what do you think? Is this real? Could TDKR be coming out in 2011? Should TDK have a sequel with the Riddler? Discuss it all and more below.

A little ostentatious. I'm thinking fake too. The second looks more believable than the undebunked one. Also, we know that IMDb has used unreliable fan-based articles from this site. That can't even be trusted. Journalism is a rare commodity these days.

Um, too "busy" to be a real teaser image. Those little ?'s are too much...reminds me of a Matrix poster. But, cool to think about!

Nolan is much better than having to rehash other peoples' marketing strategies, including his own. The next movie, if there is one, will do something different.

I would say it is a fake. "The Dark Knight Returns" If was going to feature the Riddler would it not be "The Dark Knight Returns?"

At least we get a new batmobile to look forward to. That was my only criticism of the first two movies. I hated that version of the batmobile.

Yeah, we want a REAL BATMOBILE this time! ; D

I liked the Batmobile from Begins and TDK! It was much more realistic IMO - still, a new one slightly more like the original one might be a good idea!

They're obviously fan made. They wouldn't release any posters this early on in the film's development, if there is any development at this moment :)

But very cool posters nonetheless.

I wonder if they will actually call the new movie "The Dark Knight Returns." It's an awesome title, but it may interfere with an actual movie based off that comic in the future, but I don't think that's such a big deal.

Flames: They don't even have a ready script for the movie, they don't have a definite cast, etc. I don't think they would release a poster this earlu.

THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS is the miller comic book!

WB should make a stand alone movie of that with that title!

The only other title I can think of that isn't Batman 3 are "The Caped Crusader" but I don't like that one.

it should be call the dark knight returns because he quit being batman so he has to returns for a reason

Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller is only a notch down from Watchmen, it is that good, and would be incredible if they filmed it as it was written.
Ryden
Ryden - 9/12/2009, 2:54 PM
dude seriously? this poster has been around for a while, its totally fan-made, I've seen better ones actually, theres no way they'd even thnk about making posters yet because the movie might not even happen, theres no script or nothing right now, and the title shouldn't be the Dark Knight Returns unless they're making the Frank Miller graphic novel, Gotham sounds better

What about "Batman Trashes Riddler's Lights"?

;)
LexLuthor

I think if they're doing a riddler movie, "The Man in Question" would be a great title.

Dark Knight Returns would be really unoriginal and not to say it conflicts with one of the greatest graphic novels of all time.
