Your vote will determine which Batman or Bane themed paint scheme will be on Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s No. 88 racecar in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at the Michigan International Speedway on Sunday, June 17.

There are four different Dark Knight Rises paint schemes to choose from and currently two polls having the vehicles going head-to-head. The vote ends May 18th. The favorites from each poll will meet in the finals and a new poll will determine the winning paint scheme that ends up on Dale Earnhardt's racecar in Michigan.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.

@Catwoman1: People said the same thing about Hawkeye and Black Widow and their hearts are still beating. I wouldn't worry. Just because a character that is important in the comics isn't featured prominently in the advertising doesn't mean they will end up dead.

@Intruder overrated? Maybe. At least in the eyes of the general public after TDK i totally agree. But he is a damn good director. Memento, Prestige, BB, TDK, Inception... Cmon the guy has more hits than people that have been in the biz twice as long and that is impressive.

Although I loathe NASCAR, I'm going with the Bane design. I know that DC and WB have partnered with NASCAR numerous times before it still doesn't change my opinion about it.

Prestige is up there guys but Memento takes the cake IMO but let me be clear that Prestige is one of my fave's and my 3rd choice for Nolan's best. My list is

It's funny. In the Avengers, the world is threatened but it only feels like the city is at stake. In the Dark Knight Rises trailer, the city is threatened but it feels like the world is at stake.

Marvels the Avengers needs 6 heroes to reach 1 billion, but DC needs only 1 hero to reach 1 billion... WTF?!

and yeah... The Prestige is one hell of a superhero movie with Batman and the Wolverine in one film! :P
