"The first one felt like we were making a movie," says Chris O'Donnel who played Robin in both Schumacher movies.
"The second felt like we were making a toy commercial." The director himself also chimes in on some of the pretty strange "suggestions" made to him by the studio before shooting.
"In Batman & Robin, the studio wanted it to be more family friendly and kid friendly," he says.
"And a word I never heard before ... more toyetic." There's also some pretty cool concept designs which give us a look at what some of the characters could have looked like.
