Not a great poster, BUT I dig the concept and I would love Keanu as Namor.

Everyone wants Keanu for everything nowadays. As much as I'd like to see what Coogler does with Doom, I don't think any of them should be in black panther 2.

They already have to deal with the fallout of opening wakanda, T'Chala being dead for 5 years, and everything in between.

Doom is a lot on his own. He'd need screen time like prime Thanos in infinity war

I like Keanu Reeves, but I have another option in mind. Jack Bannon, from the Pennyworth show, can be interesting.

I, for the life of me, can't understand why people want Keanu for Namor. Just... no.

@comicfan100 - Me neither he's like 50 why would Marvel waste Namor with such a limited run with an actor who truth be told isn't very good? I love Keanu but he is more of a Hollywood personality than leading actor.

Can I ask why they would put Doctor Doom as the villain of a Black Panther movie? It seems so short sighted, IDK.

I admit, not much knowledge of the Black Panther comics, and from the little research I've done his biggest bads were Klaw and Killmonger (both dead), but perhaps they can do a spin on Daniel Kaluuya's W'Kabi character, turn him into a version of Man Ape or something, lead a new faction of Wakandans. After all, Kaluuya is an amazing actor who really blew up around the time of Panther coming out

@DannRamm113 - I'm not sure what the best direction for BP2 is, but I can understand the appeal of Doom. Black Panther is the first superhero franchise to put real focus on the responsibilities of being a monarch and the difficulty of figuring out what's best for your people. (The Thor franchise did a lot with the lead-up to him taking the throne, but we barely see him in the role of king) If they continue this focus in the sequel, there's a lot of potential for cool conflict in pitting him against another monarch. So far, the film depictions of Dooms have not adapted this part of the character, so introducing him in a film in which that's the focal point of his identity would be a great way to establish this version of the character as something truly new.

I don't necessarily think he should be the primary villain of the movie, but I think it'd be very cool to plant the seeds for a complex, long term adversarial relationship between T'Challa and Victor. Reed can still be his intellectual rival and the source of a more personal conflict, but T'Challa is his opponent on the world stage.

@DannRamm113 - There's already a Man Ape, M'Baku. But I see what you're getting at. We don't know much about the state of Wakanda after the snap. I'd love to see what went down.

@DannRamm113 - "Can I ask why they would put Doctor Doom as the villain of a Black Panther movie? It seems so short sighted, IDK."

I'm guessing the main reason this rumor has been sticking around is because Black Panther first debuted in Fantastic Four #52. That's my only guess. Personally, I still don't think they'd introduce a guy as big as Doom in BP 2.

So many possibilities with all the fox assets back in the fold. Keep going slow and steady.
