Though we're still waiting on an official announcement, reports are coming in that Rihanna has recorded (or is currently working on) two new songs for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.

HitsDailyDouble.com broke the news, with NY Times' Kyle Buchanan backing up the report, adding that he's heard Rihanna will perform the end-credits tune for the Marvel Studios sequel.

The multi-time Grammy Award-winning artist hasn't released any new music for quite a while, so this news is sure to be welcomed by her legions of fans. It is no small task to follow Kendrick Lamar and SZA's stunning "All The Stars," but we'd say Rihanna is more than up to the challenge!

In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of a hidden undersea nation, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena, and Alex Livanalli.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits theaters on November 11.

@Doomsday8888 - We got a little K-Dot with the first trailer. I wonder if that was a legit remix, sampling, or just something they did for the trailer.

I’d rather get more tracks from Kendrick Lamar. The only time I’ll listen to Rhiana on purpose is as background noise to this film.
The Kendrick track from the first trailer of the first Panther movie was super fire.

Black Panther 2018 had really good instrumental score music and the soundtrack was good with the songs. More Marvel movies need to take note.

Excited for Wakanda Forever and the music.

@Matchesz - they'd rather use her to make the audience cringe rather than make good art.
