BOX OFFICE: 90-Year-Old Virgin Can't Handle THE OTHER WOMAN, 'CAP 2' Falls To 2nd

The Other Woman, starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton, was not well received by critics, earning a 29% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but that didn't stop people from flocking to the theaters to see the romantic-comedy. The film pulled in $9M to $10M on Friday and is now estimated to top the box office with a $25M weekend. That'll beat recent expectations of $13M to $19M. It should have fairly strong word-of-mouth as it received a 'B+' CinemaScore from audiences. After earning $3.9M on Friday, Captain America: The Winter Soldier will finish a distant second with $13.5M. That'll put an end to the film's three week winning streak. The last two films to finish at the top of the North American box office for four straight weeks were, 2012's Hunger Games and 2008's The Dark Knight.

Also of note: Heaven Is For Real finished in third with $3.6M Friday, and is now estimated for a $12.5M weekend. Brick Mansions, which stars Paul Walker, took fourth place on Friday with $3.3M, but will drop to fifth for a $9M weekend. The kid-friendly Rio 2, only pulled in $2.9M on Friday, but will inch up to fourth place with $11.8M by the time the week ends.

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier. Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941, Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is produced by Kevin Feige, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, and stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Emily VanCamp and Hayley Atwell, with Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.

Maybe next time Cap, anyway I just saw The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and I thought that it was actually pretty good. I'll give it an 8/10 the action was superb and the music really played a big role towards the action and weighty scenes as well. There's a lot in store for Peter Parker and I don't mean that in a good way. I'll have to see it in 3D when it hits theaters for sure. Can't wait to see what comes next! :)

@Jwe75

It's weird, isn't it? I usually find Sandra Bullock to be repellent, but the thought of her playing some alternate reality, gender-swapped Tina Stark kind of does it for me.

And if anyone here ever tells anyone I said that, I will deny it.
