CAPTAIN AMERICA 3 Directors Talk CIVIL WAR, Falcon-Cap, Chris Evans' Contract And More
Joe and Anthony Russo say that they believe a Civil War movie is "highly unlikely", while also discussing the chances of Falcon-Cap being brought to the big screen, Chris Evans's commitment to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, possibly shooting the third movie in IMAX, and more...
Captain America: Fallen Son, Captain America: Secret Wars, Captain America: Civil War...these are all popular suggestions for the title of Captain America 3, and while we wait to hear what the movie will actually be called, Anthony and Joe Russo have weighed in on one storyline they don't ever believe will be brought to the big screen. "It’s complex," Joe says in the video below when asked about Civil War. "There are a lot of characters. Marvel doesn’t have ownership of some of the key players in that. [...] I don’t run Marvel so I can’t say that it won’t happen, but I would say that it is highly unlikely." They also comment on a number of other topics, including recent reports that Chris Evans no longer wants to play the Star Spangled Avenger once his six-picture deal reaches an end. "Chris has always said that he will always do Marvel movies," adds Anthony. "There was never an issue in terms of his future in the Marvel franchise. He is there and very committed to the character." Well, he's committed while he's committed! Will that still be the case after The Avengers 3? For now, I guess we'll have to wait and see. What do you guys think?
