VIDEO: Paul Bettany & Anthony Mackie Have Hilarious CIVIL WAR Over 'The Vision' Vs 'The Falcon'

Taking a break from promoting their new film Shelter, which is Paul Bettany's directorial debut, both he and Anthony Mackie have taken part in a new After Hours segment from MTV News. And given both actors are set to return, respectively, as the Vision and the Falcon in Marvel's highly-anticipated Captain America: Civil War, and on opposing Avengers teams, Bettany and Mackie are seen here having a hilarious battle of words over which superhero is the better Avenger...with MTV News' Josh Horowitz caught in the middle. Who comes out on top? Watch below to find out!

Directed by Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain. Starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, and Martin Freeman, Captain America: Civil War is set for release on May 6, 2016.

Anthony Mackie says it's the first African-American main-stream superhero LOL

First off, in the context of the hilarious video, some white kid doesn't care what color a superhero is, it seems mostly adults have the problem figuring things out.

Secondly, Falcon is not the first African-American main-stream superhero in either comics or film. In comics, that accolade goes to Black Panther. In films, we can give that to Blade for being the first black Marvel superhero to get his own film (even before the likes of X-Men, Spider-Man, or any of the Avengers!), Storm was the first black female superhero in mainstream Marvel movies, but if Mackie is basing it off of Marvel Studios-only films then that credit goes to War Machine. I think Machie really over-estimates his importance and value to the overall MCU. With people like Black Panther and Luke Cage rising up through the forefront to lead their own film/television show, people like Falcon are pretty forgettable...

Glad I stuck around for the ending. That was funny. Love the way Bettany smiles creepily, then slaps that guy on the ass before leaving.

This is why I don't like Mackie. He never knows what he's talking about.

Falcon isn't even the first black superhero in the MCU, let alone comics.

Dummy.
