First Teaser Poster For CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER Released

Marvel has released the first teaser poster for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and while it doesn't give an awful lot away about the plot of the sequel, the haunting image seemingly hints at dark days to come for Steve Rogers!

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" will pick-up where "Marvel’s The Avengers" left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.

I'm pretty sure they aren't "taking away the American colors" Do half the people who say stupid shit like this actually watch the movies?!?! Wow...yes I'm sure they removed the "red white & blue" from the costume and shield, this IS how it will look for the entire movie, he'll be draped in a Russian flag at the end. :o|

It's a...shield! Given the context of the character, I really won't say it isn't relevant, though.

Looks Good! Obviously the Paint is removed only by battle and not to get rid of the American colors. After all, his name is still Captain AMERICA lol.

I hope this movie is good. The first one was a big let down for me. I didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to going in.

This is my most anticipated film of 2014. My expectations for TASM2 are low considering how much I dislike the first film.

It looks to me like the silver parts are raised, revealing the red white and blue underneath... but maybe that's just my mind playing tricks on me.
