I prefer DC comics than Marvel. Also I really don't like the Captain America as a character, however, I have to say that this movie looks [frick]ing awesome!

Real police officers don't use Uzis with suppressors. They are terrorists posing as uniformed police officers, which I'm pretty sure we all knew.

@Kurne I haven't seen CA:TWS yet, but I read the spoilers for the movie. My theory about who the bad guys were was right from the beginning. It has been hard trying to make sure I don't allude to anything when I make comments though.

Lol, I can't wait till the movie is released for that reason and the fact it looks so damn awesome!

Just got back from it now. Oh my laws, that was a sight for sore eyes. It easily topped everything else from the Marvel Universe so far. I don't expect them to top it, but I hope Gunn/Joss/Wright and of course the Russos can keep the standard that high.

The humour in these films has never been an issue for me, but I'll be damned if TWS didn't handle it much better than any other entry in the franchise has (to be fair though, it handled everything better).

It's so hard for me to rank this film in the MCU... Firstly, I can't even rank Avengers and Iron Man properly without changing my mind every week.

Can anyone recommend a place where people can discuss the film without consequence? It would be awesome to see people's speculations about where the MCU will go from here (especially considering it will probably be another year before we will see anything set on Earth).

I finally got to see this film last night. marvel has truly outdone themselves and delivered a film worthy of being called a part of phase 2. They have raised the bar for their future films. The Russo brothers have given us a real Captain America. One who shows us his powers and abilities. They given us a serious Marvel phase 2 film with minimal humor. This is no Iron Man 3, this is real stuff. We also finally get a spy version of Black Widow, instead of a hot chick who wears spandex and shoots guns. There is one scene involving Cap, Widow, Falcon, and agent Sitwell on a building roof that I think you all will enjoy. The fight between Rogers and Winter soldier is quite something. But I won't spoil it. So after seeing it, Captain America: The Winter Soldier EASILY gains a solid 10/10.

Just got back from seeing it here in Australia.

Absolutely incredible. I can't decide if I liked it better than The Avengers or not. The Avengers was more "fun" but this had a much stronger emotional impact.

Just saw Captain America TWS and it's not the best comic ever as some has proclaim. Dark Knight is still the best ever. Cap had lots of action but was very predicable... Its a better movie that Marvel has produce since Iron man. I rate the movie 8.5/10. Still not ground breaking movie like TDK. Between Cap and MOS, I enjoy MOS more.
