Yesterday, the latest television ad for Joe Johnston's Captain America: The First Avenger found it's way online, which offered the first look at the modern-day bookend scenes of the much-anticipated film. Depicting of the finding of the Captain's mighty shield, and soon more, as well a new shot of Red Skull the Cosmic Cube's abilities, viewable in HD via ComingSoon, check it out!






Besides the confirmed appearance of S.H.I.E.L.D Director, Nick Fury, and the obvious "you-know-who," expect to see a familiar face during the modern day bookends. What do you think?


Captain America: The First Avenger focuses on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes and Peggy Carter to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull. Starring Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Tommy Lee Jones, Hayley Atwell, Samuel L. Jackson, Stanley Tucci and Hugo Weaving, the film releases July 22, 2011.
