After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.

Starring Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, Frank Grillo, Felicity Jones, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp, Samuel L. Jackson, and Robert Redford, Captain America: The Winter Soldier is set to be released in 3D and IMAX 3D in the UK on 26th March and in the US on April 4th.

The best part of the score was that they kept a lot of the great music from the first film. The score wasn't anything special but it was definitely right for the tone of the movie.

I think I'll miss the Silvestri score that started in the First Avenger & continued into The Avengers, but that's just a nitpick. This music sounds pretty solid too!

I thought the score was pretty damn stellar. My favourite pieces were Taking a Stand which sounded like something that would be in a Captain America film. End of the Line which was pretty emotional and The Winter Soldier theme. Holy shit the Winter Soldier's theme is amazing. Just it coupled with the Winter Soldiers silent, intimidating and deadly appearance makes the music all the more better. He seems less like a human and more like an unmerciful killing machine with no remorse.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

Marvel has TRULY outdone themselves. Whedon will have to work a miracle to top TWS. Favorite CBM to date.

I liked his Magneto score on First class! Alan's score was boring.

I loved ever single second of this film. The Russos didn't make this film like Iron Man 3, with cheesy humor and questionable character development. They made the tone serious, packed with wonderful dialogue, action, and everything a CBM should be. Marvel has done it, hopefully AOU can top this.

When did Entertainment Tonight start doing real behind-the-scenes movie making features again (versus celebrity fluff)? I haven't seen something like this out of that show since 1989. (Yeah, I recognize this was a web-only featurette, but it's something).

I loved Alan Silvestri's score for Captain America. The music is as iconic as the Superman theme from John Williams. It's what I will associate with Captain America everytime I hear it. I'm disheartened as to why marvel can't keep the same composer for the sequels. How wonderful was it to hear his theme play briefly in the Avengers? It was fantastic. I've heard that the theme is at least played in the beginning during the opening intro but that's it.

Winter Soldier's theme is great, the main riff of it is almost like a battle horn sound for him.

Where's that guy at that did a whole article about how bad Captain America 3:TWS looks, the shaky cam stuff, and how it's going to fail? Was that "1to10"? Man people need to call his dumb ass out so he can get destroyed! Where is he, hiding?

@yoss MovieWorldExpress goes by AndrewPanExpress these days. More like AndrewPainInTheAssExpress.

I still remember when he posted up a screen cap of him talking dirty with a girl on Twitter or something to try to prove what a stud he was. Classic lol.
