A new picture of Steve Rogers exploring present-day NYC for the first time has surfaced online.

Thanks to klatsch-tratsch.de, we now have a very clear, close-up picture of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers running through Times Square. The emblem on the center of his shirt is much more visible and I think it's safe to say that he's still in pretty good shape.

My theory.... Cap is revived and placed in a place seetup to look like its 1945, but figures out it isn't and escapes.

After watching that video, I feel like this scene is too long to be after the credits. My guess is that it's just going to be the end of the actual movie, but I could be wrong.

This will be the ending of the film, it is an important part of caps story. Non massive marvel film fans would leave before the end, and then the avengers would come round and they'd be like "WTF how did he get from the 40's?" The post credits scenes are shock cliff hangers everytime, so my guess is it will be something related to the avengers, im hoping for a nice little glimpse at either skrulls or mark ruffalo/hulk.

If he has been in frozen in time then I think it's safe to say that some muscletissue has been burned. He looks just fine to me.
Really looking forward to Captain America and GL this summer!

@Cascade, the SS serum would prevent the muscle burn or loss

I have to agree with Thatsnogreg.

This is the latter bookend. Marvel Studios cannot risk having a major plot point like this not seen by so many of the moviegoing public.

That actually hurt IM2 when many people had no clue who SLJ was and what he was doing there.

Really looking forward to this!!!

Way too long to be an after credits scene. They are usually less than a minute long, and this scene (to show it) would have him found, told it was the future, escaping, running outside, being asked to join the Avengers. That's more than a minute lol.

if he gets thawed out in THIS movie....does that then mean the rest of the movies will be based in the present or are they going to be flashbacks to WW2 adventures????

Looks very similar to him running through the streets after the assassin who kills erskine. Interesting, Steve's probably got some wicked deja vu here.

@Jazzman...why would Tom Welling be wearing the Cap suit? ;-)

I kid, I kid.

@MissMystique...after perusing all the articles having to do with this movie shoot today, I'm starting to think you don't like Evans and you're not optimistic about CA:TFA!
