Cool cover, I do like the real cover though... they have made Aquaman more interesting... lol at least he doesn't exactly "talk" to fishes anymore... and doesn't need water ALL the time... :P

@Fastestmanalive I was just thinking that, he's more deserving to be there than Aquaman IMO.

@PaulRom
Definitely!! but at least Cyborg isent there as well, that would just be wrong, lol.

@TheGODDAMNSUPERGUY
I see what ur saying but the original cover is mainly focused on Aquaman with a few heroes scattered around that u could barely seee in the background. But the alternate cover is a group shot were they're posing, more of a poster shot so the main dudes should be in there, including the Flash.

But this is minor, as long as the Flash is in the book itself Im good, lol.

Namor is cool but that poster of him looks retarded.

I think they should rename Aquaman. His name sucks.

Andy Kubert is one of my favorite artists. His run on Wolverine and Captain America was excellent.

@TheGODDAMNSUPERGUY I completely agree about Johns' writing in JL. His "Aquaman" and "Green Lantern" have been fantastic, and so far JL has been a bare skeleton of a story. It's as if he feels like the book will sell itself, so he doesn't even have to try.

His Hal Jordon in JL acts like an immature teenager, like Johns' is trying to make him Ryan Reynolds (whom I like), but failing, while his Hal Jordon in "Green Lantern" acts completely (traditionally) normal. Which makes the JL version worse by contrast.

And while I've been a Jim Lee fan since his X-Men run back in the day, I don't think his JL art is even as good as his HUSH art was. It feels rushed almost.

On the cover or whatever that is of Aquaman standing over Green Lantern- why would a guy who swims underwater that much wear such loose-fitting gloves? Wouldn't the water pop those off when he was swimming really fast, or at least get inside them and cause problems?

And wouldn't that big wave in the background drown Batman and GL when it hits in just seconds, and knock Aquaman over? Or at least push Aquaman into impaling Hal's throat with that trident? Those big waves pack a wallop.

@SuperArgo - There is a reason why certain aspects of superheroes are modified for films. Namor's eyebrows look effing ridiculous in that poster. And his stupid ankle wings would have to go. Those bothered me even as a child.

@comicb00kguy - Crap, never thought about his old-school gloves like that before. That's gonna bother me now too.

Yawn. Not a Lee fan - the faces all have too many lines so the characters look constipated.

So,is the Justice League a team now...or are we STILL being forced into waiting (i.e., shelling out more financial capital) for further issues before this happens?
