Dan Slott's name ruins the beautiful cover for me.

It feels so great to finally have Peter return back to being Spider-Man. I actually did enjoy Slott's run on Spider-Man but here's to an amazing return of one of the best comic book characters of all time.

This is really stylistic to say the least. I really do like it. However this feels like it should be a poster for an indie festival or charity thing. Not really a comic book. My favorite cover is still the one of him changing clothes mid air.

That looks freaking fantastic! And fitting for the return of the REAL SPIDER-MAN!

Dear Marvel,
Pretty covers do not look better with a #1 slapped on them. Sell all the variants you want but try it on issues #362 or #427. This re-booting has turned EVERYONE cynical about your brand.

lol @joementum

it's not a reboot it's called a relaunch
there just giving people a good jumping on point

TheGambitFreak - 1/12/2014, 3:42 PM
^ That may be true but considering Marvel keeps canceling books and vamping new ones for no freaking reason (i.e., Daredevil), @joementum has a very valid point. I expect to never see a Marvel NOW title hit #100.

I'm not ruining after this one.

Don't worry. If you dont get this number one you could get another Spider man number one when Marvel relaunches again in another six months.

Is that cover supposed to symbolize that Peter Parker is like Jesus? Still a great cover, but a little weird.

I am on and off about Ramos' art. Sometimes with his style it works, especially with the right colorist. Other times it's just no good. I'd like to see Immonen on art honestly.

Dan Slott isn't as bad as everyone makes out, but it'd be cool to see what someone else could bring to it.

I LOVE Martin. That's one of the people who should be drawing Spider-Man.

That cover is freaking amazing.
