We covered most of these on the site but there's a lot here which we didn't get time to touch on so this is your definitive guide to everything that happened at the event on Friday. It was a very busy day so we have news, trailers, and first looks for you for a huge number of TV shows, movies, and comics.

From a new costume for Batman to trailers for the likes of Preacher, Glass, and The Walking Dead, not to mention news of a huge Marvel Studios firing and who will be the lead villain of Venom, there's so much here, you'll be kept busy for a long time to come! Much of this hasn't been covered on the site yet, so to take a look at this definitive recap, all you have to do is click on the "View List" button below.

The Marvel Knights Are Returning

It's been twenty years since the Marvel Knights line of comic books was launched and the impact of that is still being felt today. To mark the occasion, Marvel has announced that Donny Cates is working on a project which will "commemorate the 20th anniversary of Marvel Knights" and MK20 #1 will feature contributions from Tini Howard, Matthew Rosenberg, and Vita Ayala when it reaches stores.

Fear The Walking Dead Season 4 Trailer And Details

While all eyes were on The Walking Dead panel yesterday, that was actually preceded by one for the fourth season of Fear The Walking Dead. Returning to AMC on August 12th, this trailer confirms a number of new casting additions, including Aaron Stanford (12 Monkeys), Stephen Henderson (Lady Bird), Tonya Pinkins (Gotham), Mo Collins (Parks and Recreation), and Daryl Mitchell (NCIS: NO).

The Spider-Verse Adds Three New Stars

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse delivered a memorable panel at Comic-Con yesterday (you can find a full recap by clicking here) but by far the biggest news to come out of that was some casting additions.

Those are Nicolas Cage as Spider-Man Noir, Kimiko Glenn as Peni Parker, and John Mulaney as Spider-Ham. More Spider-Verse characters are expected to be revealed between now and December too.

Venom's Lead Villain Revealed

Frustratingly, Sony decided against releasing the Venom footage online due to the visual effects not being completed. There were a lot of violent moments in that according to a lengthy description, while fans in attendance got to see the movie's main villain: Riot. Apparently, that symbiote will bond with Riz Ahmed's Carlton Drake but there was reportedly some big hints that we'll see some other symbiotes in the movie, including a female one (who will presumably be revealed as being Scream).

A First Look At Voltron: Legendary Defender Season 7

If you're a fan of Voltron, you were no doubt extremely excited to get a first look at the show's upcoming seventh season which premiered at Comic-Con yesterday. The season six finale was explosive to say the least and fans in attendance were treated to the follow-up, "A Little Adventure" which included Keith and Shiro's backstory and the Paladins encountering some big trouble!

A First Look At Star Trek Discovery Season 2

Star Trek Discoveryexceeded expectations in a lot of ways when it debuted and it's easy to see why there's now so much excitement surrounding the show's second season. As well as the awesome trailer you see above, it was also confirmed at the event that X-Men star Rebecca Romijn will play Captain Kirk's "Number One." With the show delving into the franchise's mythology, fans are psyched about its return to CBS All Access and Anson Mount could redeem himself for Inhumans with this performance!

The Trailer For Glass Is Finally Here

One of the most highly anticipated trailers to come out of Comic-Con, our first look at Glass most certainly didn't disappoint. Shedding some light on where this movie will be taking us, seeing David, Elias, and Kevin share the screen promises to be a real treat as M. Night Shyamalan expands the world of Unbreakable. For more details, be sure to take a look at our recap of the movie's Comic-Con panel.

The Walking Dead Season 9 Trailer

The Walking Dead season nine looks set to change the show forever and we were left with plenty to talk about after watching the lengthy preview above. For starters, it's clear that a civil war is brewing between the survivors and the world they find themselves in is now very different we've jumped forward in time. Throw in the fact Negan is back and the stage is clearly being set for something big.

Meanwhile, it's also been confirmed that Academy Award Nominee Samantha Morton has been cast as Alpha, the leader of the Whisperers (a group teased at the end of this trailer). Andrew Lincoln also confirmed that he's leaving the series and the actor received a standing ovation from the cast and fans.

Bumblebee Will Take Us To Cybertron

Footage from Bumblebee was shown at the event yesterday and while that's yet to be released online, we do have an in-depth breakdown for you here. In terms of news, the biggest reveals came when director Travis Knight confirmed that we'll spend some time on Cybertron and the fact that one clip confirmed that we'll see an earlier version of the fan-favourite Autobot leader, Optimus Prime.

James Gunn Will No Longer Direct Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3

In the most shocking news to come out of Comic-Con, it was revealed that some of James Gunn's recently resurfaced Tweets featuring shocking and controversial subject matter meant Disney had decided to sever all ties with the filmmaker. Now, he will no longer direct Guardians of the Galaxy 3.

That leaves the franchise's future very much in doubt, especially as he only recently finished the screenplay and was expected to start shooting the Marvel movie in Atlanta this coming September.

Preacher Season 3 Trailer

The third season of Preacher is currently airing on AMC but a new trailer debuted at Comic-Con yesterday and it's packed full of amazing new footage. There are a lot of great moments here and while it's clear that the show is still veering away from the source material, it's hard not to be excited!

Cloak And Dagger Renewed For Season 2

If you're a fan of Marvel's latest live-action TV show, you were no doubt very excited to learn that Freeform has officially renewed Cloak And Dagger for a second season. Take a look at the teaser above.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer Reboot In The Works With A Diverse Lead

Another surprise revelation to come out of Comic-Con yesterday, it was revealed that a reboot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is in the works, this time with an African American wanted for the lead role.

In fact, it sounds like diversity is an extremely important part of this new series because even though Joss Whedon will serve as an executive producer, Midnight, Texas creator Monica Owusu-Breen will actually write, produce, and serve as showrunner. The show will be shopped to networks this summer.

The Joker's Real Name Revealed

Tim Burton's Batman gave The Joker a name and so will Todd Phillips' standalone movie starring Joaquin Phoenix. Apparently, that's going to be Arthur Fleck, a moniker many fans are already making fun of due to the fact it's basically "A-Fleck." Regardless, some new story details which were also revealed point to it being possible that Thomas Wayne will actually be the Clown Prince of Crime's father, something which would create a pretty shocking connection between the villain and Bruce.

Some Cool New Posters

We may not have got as many trailers as we would have liked yesterday but there was still plenty of cool new posters to help us get excited about movies like Glass, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, and Bumblebee. A trailer for the Harry Potter prequel is also officially coming a little later.

Batman Is Getting His Trunks Back

The Dark Knight has had many different costumes over the years but he's going back to basics later this year by putting his trunks back on and donning a suit which pays homage to his classic appearance.

As you can see, he's wearing the costume he had during the now iconic "Hush" storyline and Batman writer Tom King explains that it boils down to him not wanting to wear the suit he had when he was romantically involved with Catwoman. Then again, it was during that storyline their romance began.

A Huge DC Event Is Coming In 2019

According to Scott Snyder, there's another huge event coming in 2019 and this one will bring together a lot of different plot threads. "Everything is coming back, we want to pay it forward," the Justice League writer said. "The Omega Titans, Barbatos, the Forge, it’s all coming back. Everything you read, our goal is to reward. All of it culminates in like a year in like a Metal event. I don’t know if I’m supposed to be saying that but I’m saying it." Start speculating about what the means now!
