ALADDIN Clip Teases The Heartwarming Moment Right Before The Classic Song "A Whole New World"

Disney's Aladdin features some pretty iconic songs, and many of these classics will be re-purposed for Guy Ritchie's upcoming adaptation of the 1992 animiated film. While snippets of some of Aladdin's popular tunes have been heard throughout recent teasers and trailers, Disney is furthering its marketing push by releasing new clips from the movie.

The latest is a minute-long sneak peek that teases the moments right before Aladdin, in disguise as Prince Ali, and Princess Jasmine hop aboard the magic carpet and break into their classic song, "A Whole New World."

Perhaps one of the film's most recognizable tracks, it'll be interesting to see how it translates into live-action. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait to see that when Aladdin releases in theaters, as the clip cuts off right as they leave the palace.

Disney released a second clip from the film which offers an extended look at a scene that has been teased in many of the movie's trailers. Here, Aladdin asks the Genie to make him a prince, which the wish-giver explains has a very big "gray area."

Will Smith as the Genie - a role made famous by the late Robin Williams - is going to be one of the most scruitinzed parts of the film. When the first teaser came out, fans were quick to pounce on the poor CGI that brought him to life as the beloved character. However, with the release of more trailers and clips, people have warmed up to Smith's take on the Genie and it'll be fun to see what direction he goes with it.

A thrilling and vibrant live-action adaptation of Disney’s animated classic, “Aladdin” is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future. Directed by Guy Ritchie, who brings his singular flair for fast-paced, visceral action to the fictitious port city of Agrabah, “Aladdin” is written by John August and Ritchie based on Disney’s “Aladdin.” The film stars Will Smith as the Genie; Mena Massoud as Aladdin; Naomi Scott as Jasmine; Marwan Kenzari as Jafar; Navid Negahban as the Sultan; Nasim Pedrad as Dalia and Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders.

Aladdin flies into theaters on May 24.

This movie doesnt look good by anymeans, which makes me sad and angry as it was one of my FAVS as a kid. Will Smith will NEVER come close to Robin Williams, sorry

@MotherGooseUPus - No one can possibly match Robin Williams.

The recent TV spots and these clips are the best kind of marketing we've seen for this film yet and give me some faith in the casting (minus Jafar).
I guess I trust you, Disney. Don't screw up.

The marketing of this film has seemed to make fans do a complete 180 on their feelings about this, including myself.

Will Smith really looks like he's gonna 'bring it' here. I am beginning to have faith in this one.

My small nitpick (still) is that the outfits look a bit too much like a stage production (for I all know, that's probably what they were going for), when they should be a bit dirtier and not so well maintained. That's just a small nitpick though.
