Trigun is about a man named "Vash the Stampede" and the two Bernardelli Insurance Society employees who follow him around in order to minimize the damages inevitably caused by his appearance. Most of the damage attributed to Vash is actually caused by bounty hunters in pursuit of the sixty billion "double dollars" bounty on Vash's head for the destruction of the city of July. However, he cannot remember the incident clearly due to his amnesia. Throughout his travels, Vash tries to save lives using non-lethal force. He is occasionally joined by a priest, Nicholas D. Wolfwood, who, like Vash, is a superb gunfighter with a mysterious past. As the series progresses, more is gradually learned about Vash's mysterious history and the history of human civilization on the planet Gunsmoke. Although comedic and is mostly light-hearted, the story shifts toward a darker and more dramatic situation as it draws to a conclusion.

This is my fan cast and crew for it, though i'm focusing more on the anime version of Trigun than the manga version, but you get the point. Chosen is who i believe would be right for the role, i did this for fun, so anyone who's gonna bitch and moan... STFU! Thank you and resume reading...

For directing, i'd love to see Kim Ji-woon direct the adaption as he's a very skilled director, having experience doing a western thanks to doing "The Good, The Bad And The Weird" and also directed the very acclaimed films "A Tale Of Two Sisters", "A Bittersweet Life" and "I Saw The Devil", which is now one of my favorite thriller/horror films. For writing the film, i can see John Logan writing the adaption as he's a very skilled film writer and has recently gotten success with the animated film "Rango" along with earlier films he wrote such as "Gladiator", "The Last Samurai", "The Aviator" and "Sweeney Todd". I think he'd be great to adapt "Trigun" into at most, two movies and not make it crap like how "Dragonball: Evolution" was.

Bradley Cooper as "Vash The Stampede": A very lighthearted, expert marksman that tries to promote love and peace as he personally said various times. He appears to be a very merry person that dislikes seriousness, but is actually very deep and serious as can be seen in the situations he finds himself in. He's usually seen with a smiling façade, which has been called a "false smile." Beneath this smile lies much pain and the burdens that he has chosen to carry. Also known as The Humanoid Typhoon, he is a wandering gunman with a 60 billion double dollar bounty on his head. Every town he passes through either labels him "an act of God" or "a human disaster."

Reason for casting: A choice i'm sure some will bitch about, but thinking this one over, Bradley was the best choice i thought of as he's shown that he could be serious while being very comedic, plus if you work on his hair and such, he would bare resemblance to Vash.

Natalie Portman as Meryl Stryfe and Isla Fisher as Milly Thompson: The two Bernardelli Insurance agents sent to evaluate claims regarding the Humanoid Typhoon. Initially, they dismiss the idea that the real Vash is the legendary Humanoid Typhoon, but the two eventually learn (much to the contradiction to what Meryl wants to think) that this is the person they are assigned to track.

Reason for casting: To me, Natalie is perfect for the role of Meryl as it fits her so much. Milly, hard to think of who to pick due to the fact that there's not much huge tall actress that came to mind. Then the thought of effects to make her at least bigger came to mind, went with Isla as she reminds me of that loyal companion that will always be there to help, plus she is funny.

James Franco as Nicholas D. Wolfwood: A superb gunman, almost equal to Vash himself, and arguably the most skilled human being with a pistol in the series, Wolfwood is a priest who wields an enormous cross "to carry his sins". Wolfwood and Vash get into many conflicts over the morality of murder. According to Wolfwood's mentor "... we are sometimes driven to become the devil himself." Wolfwood is a tragic figure in that his redemption comes at a terrible cost.

Reason for casting: Yes, used him again (See "Joker" fan cast for reason of reference), but when thinking of Wolfwood, i suddenly thought of Franco as he's one of the more skilled actors around and i can see him in the role of Wolfwood, carrying the giant cross.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Millions Knives: The main antagonist, and Vash's brother. Like Vash, he is a sentient plant created by humans but unlike him, he is a cruel mass murderer that intends to wipe out the entire human race, considering them unfit for this world. Most of the situations Vash ends up in are, in one way or another, connected to Knives.

Reason for casting: Everytime i look at Joseph, i somehow always see Knives and his evil crazyness. Seriously, look at him, he'd also be great as Knifes as he could just go from calm and nice to just going pure evil. (I thought he was badass in "Killshot")

Norman Reedus as Legato Bluesummers: Knives' right hand man who devotes himself to him, and makes it his main goal to have Vash experience eternal pain and suffering. He serves directly under Knives, which also gives him command of the Gung-Ho Guns, a huge group of superhuman assassins with extraordinary abilities and equipment.

Reason for casting: Like Franco, i used Reedus before in my "Joker" fanfic. But i know Reedus would be awesome for Legato as he's good at acting like the follower, plus he was awesome in both "Boondock Saints" movies and "The Walking Dead".

Kat Dennings as Rem Saverem: Vash's mentor and childhood friend, who taught him the value of life. It is mostly because of Rem that Vash is the hero he is. Vash constantly finds himself asking what Rem would do in his situation. When this happens, Vash enters a peaceful "dream world" when he asks Rem for help.

Reason for casting: Another choice i'm sure i'm gonna get bitched at, but seeing as Rem is more supporting than major of a role and it's mostly in flashbacks and dreams, Kat would be good as Rem, even know Kat is younger than Rem was, but she'd be able to pull the role off. Plus she does remind me of her, just that she'd have less jokes in this.

Composing the music wise, cause the music of Trigun was just as important in the anime as the characters and such. And in this case, i would actually love to see Tsuneo Imahori, the original composer of the anime (Along with working on "Cowboy Bebop", "Gungrave" and "Wolf's Rain", working in collaboration with Mike Patton, lead singer and creator of various bands such as Faith No More, Tomahawk, Mr. Bungle, Peeping Tom, etc. The combo of folk music/jazz styles of Imahori and the experimental range/insane vocals of Patton would be epic. Plus just for just for a cameo, Patton, due to his various vocal ranges would also make a cameo doing the cat sounds of Kuroneko-sama.

Except when the character's nationality and race isn't Japanese. Didn't see anybody complain about L when he is supposed to be British and have most of his backgrounds caucasin.

Plus M. Night Shamalyan's career been going down ever since he made the movie Signs; so yeah, just bad director for the entire movie.

Nice cast, trigun is one of my favorite animes. I would love to see a good movie adaptation of it, but based on the record of anime adaptations so far I doubt it.
