So its back to a cast, finally it's been a while and i've been itchin to do another. As you already know this time its TMNT. So alot of these have been done lately, I planned on my own WAY back but put it on the backburner for a while now. Anyways, i'd love to see the new movies be fresh, darker like the mirage comics, but like one person on SHH said it needs to amplify the sci-fi aspect way up. It can definitely have its fun moments, but I really want to see it dig into some hardcore fights, and even kills maybe. But get the unique family dynamic from these four distinct personalities. Something like a slightly more family friendly Deadpool if you will, because we all know the violence will never be on the same level as Mr. Pool with the Turtles. Anyways...

Idris Elba is Leonardo
Some people won't get this. I had Garrett Hedlund, as he had a noticeably deep voice, but I began to think about it and Idris' voice was so perfect, it was deep and commanding, perfect for a leader, and the longer its been in my head the more great I saw he was for the role. As for Leo, he should be somewhat more stoic in his actions, show his conflicted side and be overall the best fighter.

Jon Hamm is Raphael
Raph is my favorite turtle, he's the most badass and has a very cynical and sarcastic sense of humor. Hamm can most certainly pull that off, and his voice just emit's that edge that Raph should have. They should definitely show his rage issues and showcase him going berserk. Raph should also physically be the biggest one

Karl Urban is Donatello
I chose Karl because of his very intelligent sounding voice, which it sounds the most so in Star Trek. He's also been pretty kick-ass in RED and LOTR. Now, i'd love to see more of Don's intellect, especially him working with April.

Bret Harrison is Michaelangelo
Mikey's the jokester of the group, however they need to dump the surfer dude attitude, and i'd say that it'd be cool if his humor is more Deadpool this time around, he's also the turtle with the most heart. Bret can pull this off with ease, he was frickin great on Reaper which definitely shouldn't have been cancelled.

Ian McKellen is Master Splinter
Okay so Ian isn't asian as usually depicted, but his voice was exactly what I was looking for, wise yet powerful and calm. If he added an asian accent, he'd be perfect. Now, Splinter would be the same as always, the pet of ninja Hamato Yoshi, who's master was killed by Oroku Saki, and his loyalness to his master made him vow to avenge his death.

Alexander Skarsgard is Casey Jones
Casey's a cool character because he's the only one with a temper greater than Raph, and that's exactly why they're such great friends, however at first they clash. Skarsgard can handle the new yawk accent and attitude, and make him a memorable fighter too.

Yvonne Strahovsky is April O'Neal
I imagine April to be the snooper of the group, she uncovers all kinds of intel to help the turtles and does alot of the things they can't in broad daylight, which gets her in alot of trouble. Like I said before April and Don would collaborate their great minds.

Hiroyuki Sanada is The Shredder
Oroku can be a badass character, if they delve into his backstory and psyche, we can see why he has such twisted morals and a dark spirit. Hiroyuki is severly underrated and the Perfect person to ultimately become the Shredder.

Lance Reddick is Baxter Stockman
Baxter Stockman is a mad scientist, who April used to work for, and on film could be a devilishly great character. Now Lance has been great in everything from The Wire to Fringe and it would be great to see him play someone cunningly evil like Stockman.

great cast and every thing, good choices for the voices but theres a problem with them too none of them actually sound "teenage" now do they. But what ever its your cast and its a good one.

Yeah I don't have a problem with the turtles being or sounding older especially leo the dudes always been the older brother type. So I like the idea of them being older and not being teens but that kinda makes the title redundant.

yeah i'm not really digging the older turtles either. i know your going for more mature sounding but that's a little too mature if you ask me

also @ Shadow this isn't your fan cast bro, we don't need to know all your picks make your own if you want us to. not trying to be a dick or anything but you do this on like every fancast you comment on

Interesting cast! I like!:)

I know many arent going to dig my choices but i was thinking maybe

Sam Worthington as Leo
Tom Hardy or Chris Hemsworth as Raph
Jake Gyllenhaal as Don
And
Bret Harrison as Mikey

or

Jake Gyllenhaal as Leo
Chris Hemsworth as Raph
Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Don
And
Bret Harrison as Mikey

I think Worthington and Hemsworth would be bad ass choices as Leo and Raph!

Nice choices man. I did a fan cast of TMNT at another site a while ago and I picked Hiroyuki Sanada as The Shredder as well. Heck, we even used the same picture for The Shredder.

As for April, great choice. I would have picked Stana Katic myself, but Yvonne is a good choice.

Not a fan of the Turtle choices, but not a bad cast.
