The new HEROES FOR HIRE is the new street level comic coming from
the duo who brought you“THE THANOS IMPERATIVE”, DAN ABNETT
& ANDY LANNING and the artist who brought you the “NEW GUARDIANS
OF THE GALAXY”, BRAD WALKER. It's a lot of just plain ol' COOL! I
love it! I love the idea of MISTY calling who she wants for the night and each
hero must respond at a moment's notice! It's street, it's action and it's badass!

It's super-powered heroes fighting super-powered villains doing nasty, gritty
street-level stuff like running guns and drugs (Altho' the drugs are way out
there and the guns are just devilish in design!). It's got an espionage underlying that's totally COOL-ERIFIC!

“IT'S LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATES, YA NEVAH KNOW WHATCHA
GONNA GET!” (I know, I know, plagiarism, plagiarism!) LOL

I'm going with the line-up and the storyline of the first 6-issues.

It showcases a lot of the guys from THE MARVEL KNIGHTS aftermath of
SHADOWLAND, here is my new casting of MISTY KNIGHT'S new.....

SAM'S used to keepin' company with the CAP, along with his hawk-friend,
REDWING, who he has a telepathic link with, he simply soars above the bad
guys of the the streets of the BIG APPLE! I've retracted MORRIS
CHESTNUT from BLACK PANTHER consideration. He's the perfect
street-wise partner to CHRIS EVANS' CAPTAIN AMERICA.

INTERNATIONAL, but she's entirely happy to ally herself with MISTY'S

Here comes VENGEANCE on a flamin' chopper, burnin' up the streets!
To me, GARRETT is perfect for the blonde-haired fiery JOHNNY BLAZE.
I think he has finally grown old enough for this role.

After seeing ERIC MARTSOLF'S great performance as BOOSTER GOLD
on SMALLVILLE, I think he would be great for the crass criminal turned
hero, PALADIN.

SHANE WEST is quite good as the private espionage agent who's caught
in the middle in tracking down NIKITA on the CW'S “NIKITA” starring
MAGGIE Q. I think he would make a great darkish SHROUD.

Now this is only a coincidence. I thought of MAGGIE Q as COLLEEN way
before I chose SHANE WEST for THE SHROUD. I also picked SHANE
because I thought he would be the best for the part, not because he's on
NIKITA with MAGGIE.

This is another one of my favorite actors for the big guy, LUKE CAGE, I
think he makes a great CAGE! There are a lot of haters but I still think he
would be fantastic!

Man oh man Kate Mara is evil looking in a good way, can't get over her eyes!!!!!!. The Rock as Luke Cage is better than Crews, he can pull off a "sweet christmas" and it'll be dramatic. Like Donovan as Moon Knight too.
I like all of them except for one thing, I didn't come up with them first. Thanks.

Very nice cast man!! Anyway, I'm almost done with the Punisher. I've already casted Bushwacker, The Russian, Microchip, and Ma Gnucci. It'll be up in less than a week.

what does Prepon being able to do good russian accent have anything to do with Silver Sable because I am pretty sure she's not from Russia. As far as I know Silver sables from some fictional country in Europe, So if you think every one in Europe has a Russian accent then you might need to go out bit more and experience the world.

Any way's the cast is pretty good and solid so well done. Keep up the good job.

I like all of your picks except maybe Hunnam, I just started watching Sons of Anarchy and I haven't decided if I like him or not. I would cast Logan Marshal Green or Luke Goss as Iron Fist.

Ah, thank God. I itch for your casts like everyone else. The recent ones from others have been shitty, so God bless you for gracing us with a Heroes for Hire fancast.

- I'm a firm supporter of Sydney Tamiia Poitier as Misty Knight, to tell you the truth. She's the same height as the character, and can jive-talk as well (Grindhouse). She'd be perfect.
- I'm with you on Charlie Hunnam as Iron Fist, but now I'm told that the character is young when he starts out. This is probably when Danny is older and all that. Great pick, I'll be using that in a cast where he's in it.
- I don't know about Olga as Black Widow. I hear her voice in some of her movies, i.e. Quantum of Solace and Hitman, and she doesn't sound Russian. Then again, anyone's better than ScarJo.
- Stana Katic as Elektra. At least as far as I'm concerned.
- I think the Falcon is supposed to be the same age as Captain America. So I think Mehcad Brooks, your pick for Bishop in your second X-Men rebooted fancast would be more ideal, seeing as he's the same age and only one height above Snap Wilson's actual height.
- I love Laura Prepon in any role. I was with her for Ms. Marvel, but I've moved on with Kristanna Loken. Great role you've given her.
- Jon looks just like Frank Castle, no bones about it.
- Haven't read much about Satanna, but Kate Mara looks the part, so I'll give you that. And the 8008s!
- Again, I don't think The Rock is of African-American decent. Samoan, I think. I like when you had Henry Simmons.
- Your Cassidy Freeman as Jessica Jones pic didn't load up!
- Amazing pick for Puppet Master!
- Boy, you've given John Rhys-Davies EVERY role to play. Might wanna make up your mind. But this is also a good choice here: Baron Bloodstone.

Uh, SILVER SABLINOVA is from the fictional
country of SYMKARIA. As you can see from the
map it's right beside the fictional country
of LATVERIA (DR. DOOM) and the real country of
TRANSYLVANIA (DRACULA).

It's next to ROMANIA and THE UKRAINE. It's a
SLAVIC country and they speak a Slavic dialect
which is similar to RUSSIAN.

I can't remember which comic book it was but
another superhero asked if she was from RUSSIA
(I'm assuming because her accent sounded RUSSIAN.)
but she disdainfully replied she was from
SYMKARIA which is next to ROMANIA and LATVERIA.

I should have said "SLAVIC" accent instead of
RUSSIAN but I didn't think anyone here would
grasp what I was talking about if I said "SLAVIC",
unless they were actually from a SLAVIC country.
LOL
Anyways her accent is Slavic-sounding,
obviously.

Her last name is also similar to an actual RUSSIAN
surname, SAVLINOVA.

Uh, I've experienced the world plenty, I'm over
40, I have an art degree, and used to own a comic
book shoppe (I've read a ton of comics and have
a pretty good working knowledge of them.).

I now co-own a loudspeaker company which manufactures
speaker systems that I design. I talk to people from
all over the world, all the time, from countries who
manufacture raw speaker components, CEO'S and SALES
REPS, so I've definitely been around.

OH SHIT! this cast is perfect! save for Luke Cage, i personally prefer Brian White, but thats the only one! Hunnam as Iron Fist is my favorite pick of the character to date! well done mate!

I have cast TAMIIA POITIER as MISTY KNIGHT before
but I kind of like her for STORM now so I brought
SANAA in for this casting.

I think CHARLIE HUNNAM could play DANNY RAND when
he's a young man as well as him now. He's an
amazing actor and can do all kinds of vocal
dialects. He's from England but he's doing a
damn good CALIFORNIA accent on SONS OF ANARCHY.
He's practiced in the martial arts.

IMDB says that OLGA KURYLENKO is a UKRAINIAN-born
actress and model who grew up in poverty sharing
a SOVIET flat with her aunt, uncle, grandparents
and cousin. She was born OLGA CONSTANTINOVA
KURYLENKO on NOVEMBER 14, 1979, in BERDYANSK,
UKRAINE, SOVIET UNION. Yep I do believe she's
quite RUSSIAN or I should say SOVIET. But then
the SOVIET UNION is no more now, of course.
But the UKRAINE used to be RUSSIAN. lol

She has studied hard to get rid of her accent for
the movies. But I'm sure she can speak with a
RUSSIAN accent! lol

Uh, MEHCAD BROOKS is 6'3", he would be a bit tall
beside the 6' CHRIS EVANS. MORRIS CHESTNUT doesn't
look all that older than CHRIS and he's 6',the same
as CHRIS. MORRIS looks quite young for his age.

IMDB says he's of AFRICAN CANADIAN and SAMOAN
descent. That makes him pretty BLACK. His dad
looks totally AFRICAN AMERICAN. He's played sort
of black guys before. He has a kind of a look where
he can play a lot of different nationalities.
He can pass for SAMOAN, AFRICAN AMERICAN and
was of questionable heritage in THE SCORPION
KING. I think he could even pass for ARAB or
SOUTH AMERICAN. He's definitely part-CAUCASIAN.

Man, I love LAURA PREPON myself! She should be
with me in my bedroom! lol
Of course the world isn't fair so she ain't!

JON HAMM doesn't just look like FRANK CASTLE,
he FEELS like FRANK CASTLE, tough as nails!

JOHN RHYS DAVIES is an amazing character actor.
He' the type who can play all kinds of people.

role.

Uh, did you mean BRIAN JAI WHITE?
BRIAN JAI is only 6' tall. CAGE is listed
at MARVEL at 6'6". BRIAN JAI is way too short
for CAGE. But he would make a damn fine BLADE!

BRIAN J. WHITE is 6'2" and built like a
linebacker, which is what he used to be in
the NFL.

DWAYNE JOHNSON is 6'5" and AFRICAN CANADIAN
and he has a huge following and popularity
which would lead to more butts in the theater
seats! I can just see DWAYNE JOHNSON shouting,
"SWEET CHRISTMAS" and people would really
BELIEVE IT! lol

I think he's a fantastic actor and is a

Pretty good cast! There's a few I would've done differently, and I dont fully understand Hedlund as Blaze/Ghost Rider, but still, over all a really good job!

I also think Olga would be a great Elektra, but I see why you chose her as Black Widow too.
And hell yeah to the Rock as Luke Cage!

Fantastic casting I love it all. Jon Hamm is a great choice for Frank I think and I think the Rock would own as Luke Cage he really has become a better actor if you look at his past films to his new ones.

You don't have to tell me jack about Charlie Hunnam. I know his deal. He can speak in an American accent, and knows martial arts post-Green Street Hooligans. My kinda guy.

I know Olga is from Russia. But I hear her voice, and it sounds more French than Russian. Milla Jovovich, Russian, is also a great choice for a replacement Black Widow.

Good point about Falcon. He and Cap are the same height.

I didn't know the Rock was actually black, so my bad. But I'd prefer an all around 100% African-American actor. That's me talking, though.
