My Predictions on Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and the Basic Plot of Thor!

I predict what's going to happen with two of the most talked over subjects by us CBM'ers.

Otherside: These are my predictions and I do not have any official info. But I did predict (although I didn't mention it here) that it was Rhody in the mark 2 suit in Iron man 2. So this is basically to make me sound really smart or really dumb. Latter is probable.
I'll be talking about Spider-man Shattered Dimensions first. Now most of us know that Spider-man: Shattered Dimensions has released 3 of the four playable dimensions which include: Amazing, Noir, and the latest released dimension 2099. If you haven't watched the two trailers that have been released do so now:

So one of the biggest arguments over the internet is which is the last playable dimension. A lot of people have suggested: Ultimate Spider-Man, MC2, House of M, Spider-Man 2211, Spider-Man: Reign, Spider-Man: India, and Marvel Zombies. All of these seem unlikely to me... except one dimension which I haven't mentioned yet which is... Marvel 1602. To me Marvel 1602 is the only logical one and the easiest to translate into a game.

Here is a brief synopsis on Wikipedia: Peter Parquagh is a counterpart to Peter in the miniseries Marvel 1602, albeit without powers. In the series he acts as an apprentice to the royal spymaster Sir Nicholas Fury. A running gag involves Peter repeatedly almost getting bitten by unusual spiders, something that finally occurs at the very end. In the sequel, 1602: New World, he takes the identity of the Spider. Later, Peter's dual identity is revealed, and with the death of his beloved Virginia Dare at the hands of Norman Osborne, he returns to Europe.

Copy paste these links to read more on it:

And here are some pictures of Spiderman 1602:

Oh Marvel Zombies fans don't hold your breath... it's a probable Teen game and Zombie Spiderman would be too bloody for a Teen game... besides Zombie Spiderman couldn't care less about the Tablet of Order and Chaos. Also what would the core game-play focus be? Comping down one villain after another? Kidding right?

Now on to Thor: Okay these are the things I based my thoughts on. In case you missed them:

And of course the teaser plot line that has been released: The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

And also a rumorer I believe: http://www.aintitcool.com/node/43207

This is how I think the core plot line will go: Thor is reckless enough to start a war in the first third of the movie. Odin casts Thor down to earth he wanders somewhere, and finally gets picked up and taken to the hospital where he meets Jane Foster. Convinced that he is the god of thunder, Jane helps Thor to look for his hammer (probably the Destroyer is after them). Meanwhile, Shield found Thor's hammer in the New Mexico. Finally, Thor gets his hammer and fights the Destroyer... and probably goes back up to Asgard after a certain Shield agent talks to him about the Avenger Initiative.

Okay so what do you think? Is this a possible plot of Thor? Would you like to see this on screen? Tell us what you think in the comments below.

both are very interesting theories but if you hear at the end of the 2nd shatter dimension trailer you hear a roaring monster sound...a lot of people are saying its gonna be spider carnage, which seems the likeliest. As for Thor, I'm really excited to see how its turns out. I'm curious as to how the Destroyer gets on earth.

On Thor: well i think that sounds fine but if he finds his hammer near the end of the movie, it might end up like The Incredible Hulk and have one villain fight scene. Don't get me wrong if it's long enough and is kick-ass as Hulk v.s. Abomination fight scene I'm ok with that. But in Iron Man 1 and 'TIH' the only real fight scene against the antagonist was at the end, and i hope marvel doesn't do this for all their movies.

Thor: Well, even though SHIELD finds his hammer, there should be no way they can move it, considering that only someone worthy of the power can wield Mjolnir.

And letting Thor go most of the movie without his hammer would be one of the biggest mistakes they could possibly make.

You have some pretty solid theories here. I'm not that familiar with the 1602 version, which is why he could most likely be the next dimension. Ultimate Spider-Man was the most likely not have been featured because we already know about him and he got his own game. The purpose of the game is to try to introduce the different versions of Spider-Man that no one has ever heard of.

Good theories!
#1-1602 would be awesome!
#2-Thor needs his hammer!

wow guys don't get so heated up about thor... i never said i wanted this to happen, i said it was probable and still thor reignited an ancient war... well i kinda doubt his hammer won't be with him, and doing exactly what it does best! corndogburgler@ and we did hear that shield was going to find it i believe isn't that where stan's cameo comes in? sides i believe they said that they try to pull it with a truck but it of course doesn't work... personally i don't mind if this happens... i'm waiting 4 my decision till i see the movie.

oh yeah 1602 will be awesome! blackairs@ naa no to spider-carnage... he's a villain isn't he? sides even in a teaser doubt they'd reveal the last dimension that way... i'm pretty sure it's venom of 2099...

Great theories!
I would have never guessed 1602, but it really sounds just as likely (if not more so) as marvel zombie spidy. Unfortunately, there's no way they can top 2099 spidy. Whoever #4 is, it will be a disappointment.

Very interesting. I really believe that the last dimension is Spider-Carnage. It makes sense for him to be the last one.

1602 is one of the best Marvel stories out there, period. You can't get any better than it.

The sequel sucks balls.

@ otherside

well we know SHIELD finds the hammer from the after credits scene in IM2. I'm just saying that if they have SHIELD take the hammer and have it most of the movie, then it will be a huge mistake. thats all man.

If you look at Natalie clothes end Marvel information about Jane Foster in the movie. You´ll know she´s not a nurse. I Think so.

@ jusme6 well to me if the last dimension is 1602 it won't be a disappointment to me!

@ destroyer14 nooooo to spider-carnage he could make it in as a villain though

@ bryel loved 1602 also!

@ corndog Shield will just try to get it but it'll just stay right in it's crater until thor gets it... that's what i'm saying...

@ comics56 interesting thought i'll have to check that out... anyway maybe she changed her clothes? all i know is that they said she had been updated for the movie.

thanks guys 4 the great thoughts!
