Plot: When former friends Zordon (Stanley Tucci) and Lord Zed (Willem Dafoe) Have an epic batlle centries ago, Zordon's body has been destroyed, and Lord Zed has been injured. Lord Zed's injuries will take centries to heal. skip time all the way to the year 2014. Zordon fears Zed will be back, in a hope to stop the coming apocalypse he and Alpha 5 (Jim Parsons) call on 5 teenagers with attitude to stop the return of Zed, before it is to late.
Soundtrack: Personally i loved Tron Legacy's soundtrack. i felt the Punk/Party Music really fitted Tron. So that has lead to my desicion on the music featured in the film. I would have music from groups like Daft Punk and Skrillex doing the main score. while other bands would do the Music in the film. Here is some of the stuff i would use.
Cast:
Jason/ The Red Ranger: Chris Zylka
Chris Zylka who portayed high school bully Flash Thompson in The Amazing Spider-Man, returns to high school in this Reboot of the Rangers franchise. Jason is a jock who constantly gets the girls and bullies the nerds and geeks. like our poor blue ranger.
Billy/ The Blue Ranger: Donald Glover
Now before you fanboy's lose it. let me explain. Billy in the orginal show was a white kid, now in the film would they really have the black ranger be.. black? so i decided to make the blue ranger an african american while the black ranger will become a coucasian. Billy is a nerd, there is no deniying it, he cant talk to girls, and gets picked on by school jock Jason (Chris Zylka), but all that will change when Billy discovers an ancient secret kept from the Humans... until now.
Kimberly/ The Pink Ranger: Emma Roberts
Kimberly, the prettiest girl in school, portarayed by Emma Roberts in this adaption, Kimberly will be a smart but gorgeous figure, who can get herself out of trouble without the help of her Ranger counterpart.
Zack/ The Black Ranger: Jamie Bell
Zack is a sport star along side his best friend Jason. Zack sees Jason bully Billy, instead of stopping him, he simply walks away. although later he sees Billy is struggling and forms a friendship with the socially awkward geek. Zack also wins the heart of one of the female rangers. but which one?
Trina/ The Yellow Ranger: Hayley Tiyoko
Trina is Kimberly's best friend, and her only hope of passing high school, Billy sees Trina a lot and forms a crush on her, when he sees her answer mathamatical equations only he could resolve. Trina forms a friendship with Billy leading into bigger and better things for the both of them.
Alpha 5: Jim Parsons
Alpha 5, Zordon's remaining hope of living. Alpha is the key to Zordon's survival if Alpha goes, Zordon goes aswell. Zordon gives Alpha the tricky task of finding 5 teens with the right attributes they need to form. The Power Rangers!
Zordon: Stanley Tucci
Zordon was once friends with Lord Zed, but a dissagreement lead to an epic battle which Zordon won, but at a cost. He lost all feeling of his body, he created the robot Alpha 5 and then decended to find a new planet to call home. crash landing on Earth causing the Dinosaurs to die out. Zordon has been asleep for eons. until now. he has awoken and will form a new team to save his new home. Earth.
Lord Zed: Willem Dafoe (Duh!)
Lord Zed has been cured. he is no longer dying, he can now achieve his goal of finding the Power Coins and destroying the planet they are on. but he needs one thing. The Coin System, an ancient system which allows all the coins to be used at one time. luckily one of our Rangers has found it first, and will do anything to prevent Lord Zed from finding it.
Goldar: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
Goldar, Lord Zed's right hand man. Goldar has summoned his ally Squatt to form a team of Putties to destroy the Earth in arrival of Lord Zed. Goldar has his eyes set on helping his master achieve greatness.
Squatt: Toby Jones
Squatt, Goldar's ally. Is the army leader for Lord Zed, forming the army known as the Putties.
Skull: Jay Baruchel and Bulk: Oliver Cooper
The two dumbest guys on campus. Bulk and Skull are simply the comedic two of the film, getting themselves into sticky situations (litterally) and blowing half the canteen up.
Tommy Oliver/ The Green Ranger: Alex Pettyfer (Cameo)
As the year draws to a close, The Rangers will become seniors. but a new boy has arrived on campus, his name Tommy Oliver and he will be the Rangers's greatest threat ever. all will be revealed in a sequel.
