I thought I’d post this cause my ‘Worst Avengers Fan Cast’ was received pretty well. In this version, the Parker’s are Jewish. (It’s a Judd Apatow film, what else would they be?)

The scary thing is, Judd Apatow would actually do a pretty wicked job. He knows his way around an emotional scene, and there’s lots of those in Spider-Man. But, he also knows his way around a funny scene, and there NEEDS to be lots of those too. And three years ago, we never would of thought that the guy who directed ‘Elf’ could pull off such an amazing movie like ‘Iron Man’ so…food for thought.

This would be good if it was a comedy sort of like the Scary Movies nice cast funny stuff. Have you seen my Superman fan cast and story it is very good you should check it out.

that spiderman dude he could actually make a good spiderman never thought of that

and christohpher could play a rich guy seen from kickass. so he got my vote for the part

and ur ,j cast is a nice pick she could act good.

and the others r wtf but ur dr. conners and dr.oct u never know they could actually pull the part

Not REALLY that bad of a casting pick for Mary Jane, IMO. Actually that's pretty damn good casting, she actually looks quite a bit like Mary Jane did early-on.

I still can't stop laughing at the mental image of Danny McBride as Dr. Octopus.

A+ Work man, these "Spoof Casts" are awesome, keep up the good work, down with the haters.

@Anil Rickly I fail to see how these "Parody casts" are any less productive than a normal fan casting. He puts just as much work into them and they're actually entertaining.

So apparently if Spider-Man was played by ugly NY Jew caricature Jesse Eisensh-t, that would make Spider-Man "Jewish"? But if Spider-Man was played by practicing, full-blooded Jew Logan Lerman, it wouldn't? Or by Anton Yelchin or Joseph Gordon-Levitt, both Jews? Or how about your own pick, Israeli-born kosher-keeping jew Ricky Ullman, whose grandfather was an Orthodox rabbi? Or what about Andrew Garfield? (needless to say, a Jew).

I find it racist as hell that just because a Jew actor is ugly and nerdy, that means every character he ever plays is
"Jewish" (see jesse Eisenberg). But if they're the best looking actor of their generation, like Lerman, then nope, their characters are mysteriously non-Jewish. The fact that Lerman's ancestry is just as Jewish as Eisenberg's, or that Lerman is a much more practicing Jew, of course is naturally irrelevant. The criteria for "who is a Jew" here is apparently different.

BTW, do you know what Judd Apatow has in common with Stan Lee? (hint: it has something to do with their ethnic heritage).
