The Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald fans first screenings are just wrapping up and the first word seems to be exceedingly positive. Plus, WB has released three new clips and the U.K. poster!

Warner Bros. held a series of fans first screenings for the eagerly-awaited Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald this morning and the early word coming out has been exceedingly positive, which certainly bodes well for the film's box office prospects when it opens officially in two weeks.
While fan reactions do typically tend to lean positive, it's rare that a studio is comfortable with debuting one of their biggest films of the year this far ahead of its release date, so there is plenty of reason to believe that WB is quite happy with the product writer J.K. Rowling and director David Yates have cooked up and wanted to get the positive word-of-mouth started as soon as possible.
Additionally, the studio has also released three new clips from the film. The first is an extended sneak peek at Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) tasking Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) with finding the recently escaped Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp); the second is a scene between future lovebirds Newt and Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston); and the third clip is Grindelwald addressing a crowd of witches and wizards at an underground location, doing a damn good job at convincing them to join his cause.
At the end of the first film, the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander. But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise wizards and witches up to rule over all non-magical beings.
In an effort to thwart Grindelwald's plans, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.
