Arrow is soaring to new heights and a big part of the shows core strength is Diggle, played by David Ramsey. Along with Felicity (Emilly Bett Rickards) and Oliver (Stephen Amell), the trio are the main reason why the show's fan base is growing exponentially. Previewing tonight's new episode where Diggle is sent to Russia by A.R.G.U.S.' Amanda Waller (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) on a rescue mission, Ramsey says the core trio will show fans something new. "This episode is going to be huge. It's From Russia With Love, so to speak. (Laughs.) Not only on a personal note do I get a lot to do, but also Team Arrow bonds in a way that you haven't seen them bond yet. I think that's one of the strongest points on the show is the Arrow, Felicity and Diggle trio and the bromance between Oliver and Diggle. That's what excites me about the show. You'll see them unite in a way you haven't seen before."

And without giving away spoilers,Ramseys adds that you'll learn quite a bit about Diggle's past in this episode. "You'll find out more about Diggle in this episode, probably more than you found out previously. The build-up with his vendetta with Deadshot will be paying off in a very interesting way. I think people will be happy with what happens in the end of Diggle and Deadshot. It is an exciting reveal."

Amanda Waller (guest star Cynthia Addai-Robinson) sends A.R.G.U.S. agents to kidnap Diggle (David Ramsey). Waller informs Diggle that Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) has gone missing after following a lead on Deadshot (guest star Michael Rowe) in Moscow. When Diggle tells the team he’s headed to Russia to rescue Lyla, Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) decide to join, but things get messy when Isabel (guest star Summer Glau) shows up on the tarmac and insists on joining Oliver’s “work trip.” Meanwhile, Moira’s (Susanna Thompson) lawyer, Jean (guest star Teryl Rothery), tells Thea (Willa Holland) that dating Roy (Colton Haynes), a known criminal, is hurting her mother’s case.

Arrow season 2

"After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. When he returns home to Starling City, his devoted mother Moira, much-beloved sister Thea, and best friend Tommy welcome him home, but they sense Oliver has been changed by his ordeal on the island. While Oliver hides the truth about the man he’s become, he desperately wants to make amends for the actions he took as the boy he was. Most particularly, he seeks reconciliation with his former girlfriend, Laurel Lance. As Oliver reconnects with those closest to him, he secretly creates the persona of Arrow – a vigilante – to right the wrongs of his family, fight the ills of society, and restore Starling City to its former glory. By day, Oliver plays the role of a wealthy, carefree and careless philanderer he used to be – flanked by his devoted chauffeur/bodyguard, John Diggle – while carefully concealing the secret identity he turns to under cover of darkness. However, Laurel’s father, Detective Quentin Lance, is determined to arrest the vigilante operating in his city. Meanwhile, Oliver’s own mother, Moira, knows much more about the deadly shipwreck than she has let on – and is more ruthless than he could ever imagine."

So is A.R.G.U.S a better SHIELD??

A.R.G.U.S is basically the "SHIELD" of the new DC 52.
I really like David Ramsey. I remember when he was on NCIS.

@beto Coulson lives in the campy Universe with Power Ranger logic. Waller could blow him to bits but he would just return with his flying car and some dumb pun joke about getting blown up.

@JoJo1982@beto I'm just glad that we have this little pocket of CBTV that's more grown up than some recent CBMs.
Who knew with shows like Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Arrow that the grown up stuff would be on TV but with a few kids shows like Agents Of Shield still targeting children.

@Anno, an actor from another CW show, Vampire Diaries I think, is trying to leverage himself to be Nightwing. Who knows if it'll happen. They are burning through story and thankfully so. If they are bringing in Amanda Waller, Suicide Squad is definitely a possibility.

Their not going to kill off Deadshot
Fans I got pissed when they thought he was dead in the first season, so they quickly brought him back to life, plus he is supposed to appear with suicide squad in future episodes.
Yeah Flash and Nightwing supposed to pop up in the Arrow series soon.

Diggle should be in the comics. And anyone who has actually watched the episodes this season there is no way they could say this show is bad. Last season the show got better toward the end but this season it's leaps and bounds better then that. It's almost a different show and even formatted differently it seems. Not a single episode this season has been soap opera like which was the major complaint that I heard last season.

@Nomis I guess I will have to start reading GA I have all the New 52 ones on digital but with the comics I really only read GA if he is teamed up with someone who counters his liberalism like Hal Jordan or Barry Allen LOL.
