New Season Two Promo For ARROW Asks, "Who Is Oliver Queen?"

DC COMICS’ BRONZE TIGER AND CHINA WHITE WREAK HAVOC ON THE GLADES – Oliver (Stephen Amell) finds out the medicine that is being sent to Glades Memorial is being hijacked by thieves. Without an influx of supplies, the hospital will close. Roy (Colton Haynes) attempts to stop the thieves, but he fails and is arrested by Officer Lance (Paul Blackthorne). Oliver gets into a heated battle with China White (guest star Kelly Hu) and her new partner, Ben Turner, AKA the Bronze Tiger (guest star Michael Jai White), over the supplies. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) makes plans to catch the Arrow, and Thea (Willa Holland) gives Roy an ultimatum. Nick Copus directed the episode written by Ben Sokolowski & Beth Schwartz (#202).

When is Roy going to start being red arrow?? Cant wait for that to happen. This show is just going to keep getting better and better. Which is good because i need something to get the shitty taste AoS left in my mouth.

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS

Roy gets a red Mustang and chases down China White's men. Two on motorbikes and two in a truck. get's one motor guy and the other one shoots up his mustang to he crashes. China White comes out and takes out the two guys in the truck and says something to the other rider in chinese (I think). As they leave the cops apprehend Roy who says "The real bad guys are escaping" as he is getting cuffed. At the precinct, a RED ARROW is found on him and he is questioned by Laurel who makes a comment to the effect of "are you trying to be like the vigilante"(paraphrasing here) and Roy says "I hear he likes Green ones". Oliver shows up there and has a talk with Roy (No he does not reveal his secret) Later Thea gives Roy the little rock thing Oliver gave her last season.

Highlights

Green Arrow has a confrontation with Laurel

In the beginning while at the club Ollie mentions how he's not sure what to do as a superhero now that he does not have a list to go by to which Diggle Mentions that Big Belly Burger was robbed.

I'm still not done watching the episode yet. Only got to the first half.

This show is to... soap operaish. idk its good, but AoS may be cheesy, but at least its straight action.

What makes it soap operaish? The fact that they intersperse dialogue and the idea of emotions in between the really well-directed action scenes?!

I see this in every Arrow thread, and it's kinda annoying, but true. Yes, Arrow is soap opera-ish. The minor level of drama appeals to the female audience, and gives it a wider appeal. Wider appeal = higher ratings, and higher ratings will give the show sustained life.I like the show, and the characters, and I'm an old school fan boy, my wife could care less about comics, and she watches the show with me. She hates the violence, but likes the drama and action. I like the action and violence, and tolerate the drama because I see it's purpose.Quite honestly,it all ties in to who and what Oliver is and was, and is going to be, so it's all kinda relevant.

HAHAHAHA. Soap operaish. No more soap opearish than relationship in comics that's going on or in the movies. They pull off emotion in this show better than the movies do with relationship. The so called soap operish parts are like a total of 5% of the episodes if you really want to be real about it.

Honestly, I think Amell and the cast around him have grown to have better chemistry than anyone in Man of Steel.

I think Roy in this show should take after arsenal in young justice 2nd season gets his arm cut off then gets it replaced with mechanical arm with his arsenal in it prob not till 3rd season though this season he should be red arrow by 3/4 of the season left

To bad he's not in the DCCU.... it almost renders this TV show useless now... even though its a good show. I hope they get a show on a main network like NBC or something sometime soon. Marvel needs to make a darker show like this one some time.

Ep 1 s2....so good. Really really good. I was very impressed and I'm looking forward to a 10 year smallville run. I really thought at first this show was a knock off of Smallville but after last years finale and this first ep I'm excited for the direction of the show. Smallville always left me wanting more which was great. This looks to give more and then some. Marvel might have the movies but DC is owning the small screen right now.

Arrow is a great show. I wouldn't call the interpersonal parts of the script soap operish, it's called relationships! We all have that in our lives, well most of us. A show can't be all action and violence that wouldn't give us any characters of substance. Arrow will only get better and I only hope that it becomes part of the DCCU when its established.
