Sounds Like 'Manhunter' Will Be In Next Week's Ep Of ARROW

In a radio interview with Nerd Nation, comic writer Marc Andreyko strongly hints that the character he has been working on for DC - Manhunter - would be making an appearance in the CW show. Check out the interview for yourselves after the jump..

After talking about his love for the Manhunter character and how he would like to see her play a more prominent role in DC's New 52, Andreyko kinda out of the blue comes out with..

“If you’re not watching Arrow show on CW, you really should probably start with this Wednesday’s episode…”


In print it doesn't seem like too much of a hint, but skip to around the 53 minute mark and you will hear how it plays out..

But even if Manhunter does make an appearance, which incarnation would it be? The mantle has been held by several characters over the years, probably the most popular being Lawyer Mark Shaw in the '80s, but since it's Andreyko talking, we'll assume it's going to be his take on the character - another Lawyer named Kate Spencer. Guess we'll find out.

The Mnhunters were the first Guardian sponsored police force but were eventually decommisioned due to a programming issue. One decommissioned Manhunter landed on earth and humans used it's programming to create earth bound Manhunters. There's a lot of fluxuation with the Manhunter lore so they could use it in a variety of ways in this show.

I was hoping they would include Kate Spencer/ Manhunter in some future episode, just didn't imagine it so soon.
I even have a favourite for the role...

Wait..Huntress first & now Manhunter?
Too much hunting going on & if they are both female thats annoying unless..
..they fall in love & there is a lesbian make-out scene & heck toss in Laurel Lance as well.

That should make the ratings skyrocket.
