Unfortunately there is only a smattering of new footage in here.

The Green Hornet stars Seth Rogen, Cameron Diaz, Jay Chou, Christoph Waltz and Michael Pena.

Britt Reid is the son of LA’s most prominent and respected media magnate and perfectly happy to maintain a directionless existence on the party scene — until his father mysteriously dies, leaving Britt his vast media empire. Striking an unlikely friendship with one of his father’s more industrious and inventive employees, Kato, they see their chance to do something meaningful for the first time in their lives: fight crime. But in order to do this, they decide to become criminals themselves — protecting the law by breaking it, Britt becomes the vigilante The Green Hornet as he and Kato hit the streets.
Using all his ingenuity and skill, Kato builds the ultimate in advanced retro weaponry, The Black Beauty, an indestructible car equal parts firepower and horsepower. Rolling in a mobile fortress on wheels and striking the bad guys with Kato’s clever gadgets, The Green Hornet and Kato quickly start making a name for themselves, and with the help of Britt’s new secretary, Lenore Case, they begin hunting down the man who controls LA’s gritty underworld: Benjamin Chudnofsky. But Chudnofsky has plans of his own: to swat down The Green Hornet once and for all.

@The Myth
I agree - I can't quite tell if this is going to be good, mediocre or a total fail.

I'm trying to remain cautiously optimistic for this. There should be some more footage revealed at SDCC this year.

Surprisingly, this looks pretty decent!

Michel Gondry is one of my favourite directors, looks like he may have pulled a miracle on this supposedly doomed project.

The Shadow on the other hand is one of my faves and i'd love to see what Raimi could do with it. I don't care how crappy Alec Baldwin's was, i freakin' loved it! GH though, i dunno. There's something about his concept that just doesn't sit right with me. And adding this cast sure isn't helping. But the trailer is very decent, i gotta give'em that!

Total waste of money on this film. Rogan alone is enough to ruin a movie. But then mixing him with Diaz just like using a vomit scented air freshener...It still stinks!

Bomb. This will bomb. Yes it will.

I just saw the beginning and stopped. This is not how the Green Hornet's supposed to go. It's taking away all the darkness from the show.

I like Seth Rogen.....in the whole idiot comedy role. Zack and Miri was great....but it had some nice boobs in it. Funny People....meh. I am still worried that the only Boob in Green Hornet may be Rogen.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnddddddddddddddddddd.............. I STILL don't give a shit about this movie. Pass. Man, of all the CBM's Christoph Waltz could be doing, he picks this one. Hopefully he gets some real CBM material to sink his teeth into eventually.

I know I kinda like it from the trailer
but that isn't the whole movie. Sometimes
trailers can be deceiving.

I don't know who's in charge of trailers
but sometimes really good movies look terrible
in the trailer and awful stuff actually looks
good in the trailer. I don't know which
category GH falls into until I see what the
critics and other geeks have to say!

Rogen has made this once great and iconic crime-fighting character into a alcohol-swilling party boy doofus. The trailer has definite moments of Rogen-esque gutterball "humor". This really suck ass big time!
