thor will be the best comic book movie of next year.

if they tidy up the green lantern cgi it should be good,but that third still looks abit crappie.

Good post. I can't wait for this movie but I'm still confused as to why the mask isn't black. It would play so much better and not look as strange. GL, Thor, Cap America, TDKR, MOS, Avengers, even throw in the Spidey reboot and Fist Class. I gotta say that I am pretty pumped that CBMs are getting this much screen time even if some of them fall short of expectations.

haha, yes, the mask will ruin the entire movie. I mean that's what the plot hinges on after all!;) Ah no, the mask could have been better I guess but its in no way a deal breaker. Nor is that ridiculous attempt at humor in the trailer..but I better love this film aside from that or Mr Cambell will get ...a very bad write up!

It's hilarious how some people are talking "AS IF" they're from the industry and speak from experience on making films. Everyone is a critic and seems to know how they'll make the movie the best in history, lol.

the hair is perm, not hal jordan at all.
who are the other actors that were lined up to play for GL before?

it just looks like a SPECIAL tv movie. it will be reboot for sure.

Huh. I was hoping to see some new new stuff :(
The third still is my favorite, the mask actually doesn't look like CG in that one.
I think it looks far better than it does in the transformation scene in terms of integration so I at least agree with AllPurposeNaji.
I see people really don't like the design, I like it, maybe that designs suits Ryan Reynolds best too... maybe he looked silly with the classic looks from the comic books.

Maybe every one here would of preferred Justin Timberlake? Remember? It came that close. Of course perhaps Bradley Cooper would have been interesting.
Ideally, this movie would have required a young Harrison Ford!

Gee the costume and mask doesn't look like traditional spandex or rubber like all the other super hero costumes. It looks like it was artificially created by energy or something...

They should learn from Hulk. He was bright green and it didn't look great. In The Incredible Hulk, they toned down the green.

GL looks a little too neon.

And...the mask is ridiculous. Hopefully the CG will get better.
