Paul Feig's GHOSTBUSTERS Wraps; Ernie Hudson Confirmed For Cameo
...and that's a wrap on Paul Feig's Ghostbusters! The Spy director has just tweeted out his (presumably) final production photo from the set. Plus, we have word that Ernie Hudson will indeed make a cameo.
Paul Feig's upcoming Ghostbusters reboot, which stars Kristen Wiig (The Martian), Melissa McCarthy (Spy), Kate McKinnon (Saturday Night Live), Leslie Jones (Saturday Night Live), & Chris Hemsworth (Thor), has officially wrapped filming. The Columbia Pictures-produced film will now head into post-production to get ready for its July 2016 release date.

In other Ghostbusters-related news, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that original Ghostbusters star Ernie Hudson (Batman: Bad Blood) was spotted on set Saturday and will indeed appear in the upcoming sequel. He joins his fellow 1984 castmates Bill Murray (The Jungle Book) and Dan Aykroyd (Pixels), who are also set to make cameos.

Erin Gilbert (Wiig) and Abby Yates (McCarthy) are a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real. A few years later Gilbert lands a prestigious teaching position at Columbia University, but her book resurfaces and she is laughed out of academia. Gilbert reunites with Yates and others when ghosts invade Manhattan and she and her team have to save the world.
