The following featurette courtesy of Fandango gives us a look at some new footage from the movie - including shots of The Mandarin, Killian, Happy etc - as well as interviews from the cast. Enjoy..

Marvel’s “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

Iron Man 3 stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley. The movie is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black, and hits theaters May 3, 2013.

"I guess we'll just go to see the after credits scene(s) now. We've already seen the rest."

That was true for the Avengers too. They showed the entire movie before...wait, no they didn't.

Jeez, stop complaining that's why you go to this site! You complain when there's too much footage, but if it was any less all you would do is complain about how they keep showing the same shots over and over.

He basically did. He complained about both.

Anyway, thanks Ror Machine. Great stuff, and helped solidify somethings I wasn't sure about given the editing in the trailers.

@Albert

No problem, it really wasn't directed at you, it was at everyone who's been complaining over the last couple months.

This whole "they showed too much footage" thing, needs to stop. Simple... don't click on link or simply ignore the thread. Just like @Spoon said, the same thing was said about The Avengers last year and we had barely scratched the surface.

Favreau actually looks as heavy as he did when he started shooting Iron Man. He'd lost a lot of weight by the time they go to his scenes. He's always fluctuated though.

The footage they haven't shown yet is Gwyneth and Rebecca making out and then having a pillow fight while only wearing the bottom half of the suits! True story!

In the footage that they showed leading up to the avengers, a significant amount of it is not even in the movie as it is shown, or it is presented in a misleading way. I'd be very surprised if we know as much about this movie as we may think.
At least that's what I tell myself to ease my conscience after watching this stuff. Nevertheless, this featurette has me even more enthused than before.

From this and other previews, it is looking like it could be a very interesting movie.

I suppose people who don't want spoilers would make their decision to see the movie based on the quality of the previous Iron Man movies or based something like a number on the tomato meter (you can read the number without getting into actual reviews and finding any spoilers). But, I think people who want to avoid spoilers could avoid anything labeled a trailer or featurette without too much trouble.
