The pics show Owlman and the League with "good" Lex.

Here's the synopsis thanks to AICN...

Warner Home Video will distribute in Spring 2010 (finalizing date soon)

An original story from award-winning animation/comics writer Dwayne
McDuffie (Justice League) rooted in DC Comics’ popular canon of
“Crisis” stories.

Bruce Timm (Superman Doomsday, Green Lantern) is executive producer.
Lauren Montgomery (Wonder Woman, Green Lantern) and Sam Liu
(Superman/Batman: Public Enemies) are co-directors.

In Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, a “good” Lex Luthor arrives
from an alternate universe to recruit the Justice League to help save
his Earth from the Crime Syndicate, a gang of villainous characters
with virtually identical super powers to the Justice League. What
ensues is the ultimate battle of good versus evil in a war that
threatens both planets and, through a diabolical plan launched by
Owlman, puts the balance of all existence in peril.

All-star voice cast led by Mark Harmon (NCIS) as Superman, James Woods
(Ghosts of Mississippi) as Owlman, Chris Noth (Sex and the City, Law &
Order) as Lex Luthor, William Baldwin (Dirty Sexy Money) as Batman,
Gina Torres (Serenity, Firefly) as Super Woman and Bruce Davison
(X-Men) as the President.

Its a great voice cast, but its a shame the old reliables from the JLU cartoon and Public Enemies couldn't reprise the roles. Still, it might be cool to see (or hear) a new take on these characters.

If I am not mistaken, JL series had a plot similar to this, hope it is not a repeat. Still cool..glad to see Hal Jordan.

Keep it poppin DC animation. This does look great. Animated comicbook based movies is the way to go. There is more control for production team, no superstar actor attitudes and contract squabbles. I'm a John Stewart fan also but I have always said if not John then it has to be Hal Jordan. Can't wait!

The JL series basically did a rehashing of this book, but changed it up. The Lords of Justice weren't a crime syndicate. They lost their Flash and went berserker. In this one Flash is a junkie who shoots speed to run fast, and Wonderman, Super Woman and Owlman have a three way thing going on. We'll see how far they push it though.

Oh and DannyRand401

You're not alone. I cringed a bit then I read his name.

This sounds like the Grant Morrison's Graphic Novel JLA:Earth 2. Except with Hal in Kyle's Place.

That's the ticket. I'm thinking of that one. It was Ultra Man, not Wonderman, sorry. Damn it's been a while since I read that. I hope that's the premise here. Seems like it.

It looks cool but it kinda sucks that kevin conroy isn't going to voice act batman
DarkAvengers

Thats cool, but it blows that they arent staying consistent with the damn voices. Its not good without Conroy as Batman. I'm sure this will be a let down like every other DC animated feature.

Can't wait, we need more 'Crisis' story movies. I barely remember anything from Earth-3, but maybe this'll be great. Next flick needs to be Flash or JSA.

william baldwin better be as badass as Conroy! Batman needs to have that "one more word and i will beat the crap out of you" tone.
Go Batman! and...owlman! (batman is awsome even if he is evil, dresses like an owl, and have the voice of james "Someone to care for, to be there for" woods!
(that episode of family guy it's great)

JLA:earth 2 is still one of my favs, i hope they keep the tone the same

and why no identity crisis animated film, it's the only way i can see that story happening, no way WB wuld adapt it to live action EVER, nor should they... it'd just get fudged up
