POLL: What Upcoming Live-Action DC Film Are You Most Excited To See In Theaters?

Just a few years ago, the projected slate for Warner Bros.' DC Films Universe looked vastly different from the current lineup, with films for Cyborg, Green Lantern and more all in active development...

It's been a strange ride for the DC Extended Universe/DC Film Universe, or whatever it's calling itself these days. At the start, on the eve of Dawn of Justice's release, it seemed Warner Bros. was ready to come out swinging and challenge Marvel Studios for superhero box office supremacy. Then came the string of regime changes, critical failures, and box office under-performers that have led to the current situation of Warner Bros. distancing itself from the strategy of a shared universe for its DC Comics adaptations.

However, perhaps this shift is what the studio needs right now. Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Shazam! were, strangely enough, the studio's best projects among releases that included a solo Superman film, Batman meeting Superman and a Justice League ensemble. As such, we currently live in a reality where most of the DC adaptations announced between 2014-2018 Warner Bros. appear to have stalled.

Still, there are a number of upcoming films that look promising and we want to ask the true CBM fans out there to let us know which of the upcoming films or projects in active development are you most looking forward to one day seeing in theaters. After voting, be sure to share your thoughts in the comment section below.

Can we add "none of the above" as an option? 😁

I still think they should just combine the Nightwing & Batgirl scripts into one movie. Make it a rom-com action thriller.

Joker and The Batman.

Batman always wins.

Maybe they should rethink this Trench idea.

I hate that I'm saying The Batman, but it's the Batman. I'm not too excited to see Joker in theatres just yet, but I do want to watch it and I think it'll be good.

Also, more polls!

Joker
Suicide Squad 2
The Batman
Wonder Woman
The Trench
Aquaman 2

1. The Batman
2. The Suicide Squad
3. Shazam! 2

Not much looking forward to any of the other movies atm. For the three above the ranking of how likely it is I'll actually end up watching them on the big screen would be reversed. The Batman so far is mostly potential, Shazam already delivered once.

Green Lantern Corps, Man of Steel 2, and Justice League Dark . . . oh wait?! . . . Oh, Yeah . . . None . . . That's right . . . The correct answer is None of the Above.

We know so little of so many of these, it's hard to say. Is Nightwing even happening anymore?

I'll watch them all, but I'm far more interested in watching DC's TV shows on the DCU app. They're so much better at television than movies.

I'd say Aquaman 2 as a second option since Aquaman is my favourite DC movie so far.

I can't imagine The Joker ending up as a version of the character I can accept as The Joker. DC movies are an ongoing train wreck and I've lost interest, except WonderWoman.

dude I hate to say it because I'm little DC tard fanboy, but none of these. These all sound like shit.
apparently joker is good, but really, who cares anymore. Its not going to build off it in any meaningful way. You won't be able to see more of that story.

Its a one shot movie based off of a character that rose to prominence through serialized stories. It's just not what I want to see.

Batman. You picked Matt "Who?" Reeves to follow up Christopher FREAKING Nolan. Inevitably, this is going to be compared to, and looked down upon, when held side by side alongside TDK Trilogy.

So WW84?

Even though its not on the list, I’m still looking forward too it. Really wish McQuarrie still gets to work on it

I'm intrigued by Joker and excited for Wonder Woman 2 thanks to Patty Jenkins, but it's got to go to Matt Reeves The Batman, especially after his fantastic work on the Planet of the Apes series. I'm really pumped to see what he brings us.
