MMA Fighter turned actor, Gina Carano talks about the shooting schedule for the female version of The Expendables while discussing her upcoming projects.

There’s an "In the Blood" film that I might shoot in Puerto Rico, hopefully later on this year; if not, early next year. Then, there’s kind of a female "Expendables" type thing in the later part of next year, which will be really fun for me. I think in working with females will be great because the last film, there were no females and I’ve enjoyed working with females and seeing other woman act and interact so I can see something and say, okay well this is normal. When you’re with a bunch of guys, relatability is different with egos and all that stuff.

The man, the legend, Bruce Timm talks about why Green Lantern: The Animated Series was cancelled. Apparently toy sales from Warner Bros. Green Lantern movie were so atrocious, toy companies refused to even make them for GL:TAS. Without that revenue stream coming in, Cartoon Network couldn't afford to continue to produce a show that has such expensive CGI. Hopefully Timm and co. get another crack at an animated show, a lot is riding on the success of Beware The Batman.

Halle Berry talks about her excitement to return as Storm in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past regardless of whether it's a big or small role in the film.

I still think LR's "scoops" are total BS. Isn't this the same guy who said we were getting Black Panther?

I knew the planet hulk stuff was made up, it was a good comic but it wouldn't transfer well to film. I thought the animated movie was boring tbh. The hulk will not get a solo movie, he works better as part of a team.

Yes, glad that Hulk rumor is BS. I want The Leader & The Absorbing Man for the sequel.

I would believe him, but using the word "nonsense" seems like overkill- like he's teasing. Either way, a Planet HULK story-line would be more interesting than HULK running around in the streets again being chased by the army. But then again, a PH film would break the bank. So, maybe it IS nonsense.

I agree a new Hulk movie should be made with Leader and Absorbing man maybe the Wrecking Crew but I would do it Marvel Team Up style- Hulk and Iron Man or Hulk and Thor but not Hulk alone.

I'm not even sold on Infinity Gauntlet working for a mainstream audience yet since that actually goes REALLY bad for the Avengers and well, everyone. Planet Hulk for a Hulk movie just does not work yet since at this point the only people who'd want to shoot Hulk into space would be maybe Shield. Ross wouldn't want him shot into space and unless Tony is lying out his backside, he doesn't seem to want to shoot him into space. Planet Hulk wouldn't make sense for a long time yet unless of course Loki does it and tricks him into thinking it was the Avengers who did it.

I've got a question for Jim Carrey, "Why have you been such a complete douchebag to gun-owners and Catholics on your Twitter page, posting negative, derogatory garbage? Just because you're an elitist Hollywood snob?"

I'll be seeing "Kick Ass 2" regardless, but the guy can go to hell as far as I'm concerned.

Old news in collector circles about the bad toy sales. Slightly interesting to hear Timm acknowledge it, though.

I'll have to admit I was wrong about GL. It really was toy sales. Can't say as I'm surprised though. I'm not a big fan of toys based on that style of animation. I'm not referring to the CG, but rather the style of the characters. I would never buy a toy where the figure is completely top heavy with little legs. I speak from the kid in me. I wouldn't see those toys as very appealing. Maybe if they had made larger figures (I still own those 10" JL figures from Timm's earlier work). A 10" Aya or Atrocitus would've been cool.

While I don't like that GL:TAS was canceled at least that is a sensible reason...

Just because something turns out not to be doesn't mean the scoop is BS... They could very well have been seriously considering it but plans in Hollywood change. Scripts get shelved and when dealing with a huge Universe like Marvel has going, it has to be cohesive. We know Black Panther and Dr Strange have been in the works forever but they aren't just gonna throw a movie out there just to do it if it doesn't make sense.

I'm not defending Latino Review and feel they need throw something out there as a "Scoop" and not "News" when it's just an inside of what is being considered, like Planet Hulk. It's their framing I get annoyed by.

As far as Planet Hulk, I won't believe any denials on that one till Phase 3 is in production. El Mayimbe has a certain dramatic flair (which I think is cool), but he hasn't been entirely wrong in days past (Guardians of the Galaxy, Ledger as Joker) and none of the things he's said recently can really be refuted. JJ Abrams denied directing Star Wars and yet here are. But what I really want to know is where this "Cool Kids" business started (and why). I've been visitng that site for years and never seent that until they started that mailing list, and now it's all over that site. I don't much care for that business.

He also said that white people mess countries up. Yet, the best countries in the world are white. South Africa, a predominately white or increasing white population, is the best part of Africa if you ask me.

The new Hulk should itroduce The Leader for sure, and maybe bring back Abomination so he can work with he Leader and more characterization could come ino effect between him and Banner.

I think The Leader is perfect because Hulk would be fighting someone super smart like Banner rather than just a brute for Hulk...
Interesting dnamic I thik..

That would be the best way...
