Betsy Ross was directly copied from the screen-used prop used by Jim Carrey in Kick-Ass 2 and is made of wood with metal stars on one end and a detailed grip tape handle on the other. This hand painted replica of Colonel Stars & Stripes’ ax handle is 28 inches long and 8 inches in diameter at its thickest end.

Kick-Ass, Hit Girl and Red Mist return for the follow-up to 2010’s irreverent global hit: Kick-Ass 2. After Kick-Ass’ (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) insane bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), our hero joins them on patrol. When these amateur superheroes are hunted down by Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse)—reborn as The Mother F%&*^r—only the blade-wielding Hit Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) can prevent their annihilation.

STARRING:

Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Kick-Ass
Chloë Grace Moretz as Hit-Girl
Christopher Mintz-Plasse as The Mother F*cker
Jim Carrey as Colonel Stars
Donald Faison as Doctor Gravity
Lindy Booth as Night Bitch
Andy Nyman as The Tumor
Robert Emms as Insect Man
John Leguizamo as Javier
Morris Chestnut as Sergeant Marcus Williams

I'm going to see this just for Jim Carrey... Love the guy. Seriously hate Christopher Mintz-Plasse though. How does he keep getting jobs? Poor guy is never gonna quit playing a teenager even though he is like 28.

How dare you people call this fantastic collectors item "Just a Piece of Wood". It's not just a a god damn piece of wood it's a [frick]ing collectors item you dumb morons.

So I am guessing to you idiots this figure is "Just a Piece of Plastic" not because many people took their own hard earned time to create a fantastic work of art but because you have a hard assed personality and think you are better than them.

Give respect to the artists and the designers. Respect the amount of people that put their work into this and stop shitting all over them just because you think it's an easy to be this talented.

@FullMetalJacky

It's because it is a piece of wood. They took a bat, put some tape on one end, painted the other, and scuffed it up a bit. Not a big deal at all and not worth $50. Sorry.

The Cap figure however, looks a lot more intricate and looks like it required a lot more work, which, I'm sure, it did. It looks much more deserving of someone's money. Still not mine though, but that's a personal preference.

First of all, that isn't a bat. It's the handle from a trenching shovel. Anybody ever try to play baseball with a bat shaped like that would get laughed of of the playground.
Secondly, I won't see this movie for the simple reason that Jim Carrey is in it. I can't stand that guy.

That would be a bat, trenching shovels don't get thicker towards the base or the handle.
