KICK-ASS 2 based on the comic book created by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. and is being directed by Jeff Wadlow. The film stars Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloë Moretz, Jim Carrey, Lyndsy Fonseca, Yancy Butler, Donald Faison, John Leguizamo, Lindy Booth, Olga Kurkulina, and Nicolas Cage makes a cameo. The film officially lands in theaters on August 16, 2013.

I've always loved Jim Carrey. My first movie of his is one I saw in te theater, The Grinch. Carrey is just hilarious. He's great in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind but, my favorite movie of his is, Liar Liar.

My favorite Jim Carey movie is the Mask. They should have made a real sequel to that with him in it years ago. Hopefully they will make it one day. Even though dumb and dumber was stupid it really was a fricken LOL movie. I'm looking forward to seeing him in Kickass 2.

Kick Ass 2 was my 3rd most anticipated film this year after Man of Steel and Star Terk. But now because of Carrey's recent comments on guns I will be downloading a pirated copy.

These actors are anti-gun (I personally do not own a gun), yet don't have a problem shooting it up in the movies.
The movie is not out, but the Colonel's crime fighting powers are his monstrous German Sheperd and 2 smoking guns.

Who said anything about celebrities being anti-gun? No one is saying take away peoples guns but they are saying that there are just some guns that citizens should no own. There are some guns that were made for military purposes and the military are the only ones who should have them.

Carrey was funny on In Living Color, and in some of his earlier movies. His camera-mugging schtick has gotten really played out, though.

Well in the comics the Colonel only used an empty gun for show. He never really shot one...he hit dudes and had his dog bite a guy in the nards. Plus he will probably be in the movie until like the middle and he will get killed. I hope they don't change his death like Big Daddy's.

Oh here we go. Disregarding my own personal views on gun laws, to the people who are deicing never to pay to see a Jim Carrey film again, even though they want to see it.....WHY? By going to see the movie you're not supporting his belief, you're supporting the movie. On top of that, since when does a difference of opinion equal outright hatred or disregard?

Do you not argue with your friends and family over politics, morality etc? Because if you don't, that means you basically surround yourself with people who share the exact same opinion as you, and that is not healthy. So, really, who CARES that Jim Carey is anti-gun? That's his preference and he made it known, people who agree with him can laugh at the video, and if you don't then just ignore it. There are plenty of people who I disagree with politically etc but I still enjoy their work. Frank Miller being a great example.

So, in short, stop being tools and just enjoy him in the film, because you know you will anyway :)
