Deadline reports that Journey 2: The Mysterious Island director Brad Peyton will rewrite and direct Lobo for Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment. Joel Silver and Akiva Goldsman are set to produce. This will come as good news for comic book fans who have been hoping that the studio would start bringing more than just the likes of Batman and Superman to the big screen. There's no word on a release date just yet, but stay tuned to CBM for further details over the coming weeks and months.
